WMP 12 Settings

Suppose I'm in the Library view of WMP 12 & I have a long list of songs by artists. When I double-click on any song, the entire library goes into the 'unsaved list' and it all starts playing sequentially! Where, in the name of ***, is the option to play that single file without enquing the rest of the library, or maybe even enqueue only the songs by that artist (or relavent sorting scheme)?! This option is present in the right-click context menu of that file, but how d'ya set defaults in here?!

I was a 5-yr fan of Winamp, which I used till WinXP. Now I'm a bigger fan of Win 7's Libraries & I see it better implemented in WMP, so whatever; WMP it is.

I've looked around a bit, not exactly to the brink of my patience, but I hope someone already knows...

P.S.: While you're at it, can you also help me make the media fade-in/out when seeking and stopping? That's something to die for. Cheers, Windows, visuals fade in & out but not sounds?!

Besides the built in crossfading support available thru Now Playing -> Enhancements, I dunno of any fading plugin for WMP but would like to find one for me too! WMP plugins are kind of dying, WMPlugins.com also redirects to Microsoft.com where a limited number of commercial plugins are listed.
