Today, I went down to the store to buy a 10 pack of floppy disks for my one year old computer :o

(needed it for the drivers to install WHS)

This deserved a thread.

LOL! I don't miss floppy disks, but do you remember the LS120?

On another note: I would like to have the battery life on my laptop thats in your sig. ;)

I remember the LS120 drive. The university admins were so proud of the new machines with built-in LS120 drives when they equipped the PC labs with them...

... yet everybody only used them as floppy drive. I don't know of a single person who's ever owned a LS120 disk. Instead people would queue up in front of the Windows 98 machine with Zip drive and external SCSI CD burner (2x speed!) to backup larger amounts of data.

Fun times.

haha :D 120 mb storage ftw.

on the other note : i'm sure we all want the battery life in my sig, including me!
