Is it better to be mixed race?

Not if your genes are racist.

Are you implying that my statement is racist? It certainly wasn't meant to be. I tried to choose my words carefully because it's such a controversial topic. :/

Is it racist to state that inbred animals and people are generally found to be at a disadvantage? For example, if there is a recessive disorder in the family, inbred individuals are at a greater risk of suffering with it.

My Girfriend works in a hospital and she was discussing this with a consultant a few weeks ago.

Things like alzheimer's are more common in people who are white european. People who are African are the most likely to get Sickle cell anemia.

But if a white europen and African have a child, it will genetically be highly unlikely that it will get either. Mixed race people (from a genetic flaw/mutation point of view) get the best of both gene pools.

Didn't seem racist to me P Laura. You must have some experience with this topic because alot of the things you are saying is pointed out in a few studies.

i discovered in a lab (cannot provide sources because it's illegal) that mixed races genes cancel each other out thus eliminating things like the risk of sickle cell anemia.

In some cases. Obviously, things such as dominant mutations don't get negated. Nor do some sex-linked mutations such as those on the Y-chromosome. If you're male and your father gave you something on the Y-chromosome, you're probably ****ed no matter what race your mother is.

I have friends with mixes from all parts of the globe. They do tend to look more attractive than their single-heritage counterparts.

One that I've never seen is a mix between African and East-Asian (I did know an African guy who dated a Japanese lass. Too bad they didn't make it).

Google/wiki Tyson Beckford, he's black with a hint of Chinese.
