Drivers not installing

Hello everybody,

so i replaced my friends broken motherboard with the Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 and everything is working great, but the drivers wouldn't install... not the ones provided with the motherboard and not the ones that i can download from the website.

it just tells me that i am installing that it doesn't recognize the hardware and turns off the installation...

i am pretty sure this is a hardware related issue, and if not please tell me.

any suggestions appreciated!

everything is fine so far, im just worrying that later it will be too late for an rma and i dont want to pay for shipping and get done with business now... also i mentioned the motherboard in my main post "Asrock 4CoreDual" it's a silly name.

Also, drivers for video card are not detected properly (temperature is not showing with everest like it used to and cannot overclock)

What version of win 7 is it? 32 or 64 bit?? I take it you're installing Vista drivers, since there are no Win 7 drivers on the site. Have you installed the videocard drivers (its not onboard is it)??

not onboard, i believe its ATI Radeon 9700XT (very old) thats why i went with that motherboard, i needed the agp slot. and yes drivers are installed but i cannot overclock... and no temperature is being shown as it use to show.
