SuperJediMedia
Even if you HIDE your friends list, it will STILL show your friends as suggestions on the right. And, I don't think there any way to prevent that. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/848952-beware-of-facebook-privacy/ Share on other sites
00000000000000000000000000
A better solution: Delete your Facebook account because you probably have no idea what you're getting yourself into ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/848952-beware-of-facebook-privacy/#findComment-591891420 Share on other sites

TonyLock
The OP has a point. FB's privacy is crap! Even if you lock your account down, *I* know how to see your wall, your photos and your friend's list, not to mention any private data you've foolishly added to your "Info" section. I've never understood why people are so willing to provide their work, home and other info so openly and yet be concerned about privacy. MasterC
Sense....this thread makes none. JediXAngel's specialty is creating threads that don't make any sense at all. redvamp128
Just try the comment of photo of a friend of a friend- (when you are not mutual friends with that other person) - You may now view that persons whole photo album even though that non has their albums set to private. I have given this example once and even sent it in to FB. This is what I sent to their privacy notify- 3 people Larry, Curly, and Moe.Larry befriends Curly- Curly befriends Moe- Larry and Moe are strangers-- Larry's profile is set to private- Curly comments on Larry's photo of his wife- Shows up on Moe's notifications- that Curly commented on Larry's wife... Moe clicks on Larry's wifes picture (this album is set to PRIVATE and it is not his) Then he clicks on the album. and it lets him in to view all photos. Now if Moe goes to Larry's profile and clicks on the Photo tab-- He is greeted with the message-- ALBUM IS SET TO PRIVATE-- however he just viewed the whole album. And they said this is not an issue.
