Installation/Uninstallation

The following steps give a rough guide to the installation of the Logon UI if Windows File Protection is in operation:

- Take a backup copy of WINDIR\System32\logonui.exe

The following steps should be completed as quickly as possible:

- Delete logonui.exe from WINDIR\System32\dllcache and WINDIR\ServicePackFiles\i386 (if it exists)

- Extract the executable from the attached zip to WINDIR\System32

Univers Condensed (Welcome Text)

This will default to Arial if the specific font is unavailable.
