Does Microsoft care if I claim (but not use) all my MSDN Product Keys?

Question

I'm wondering if Microsoft would really care if I claimed all 10/10 of my product keys for each software product I am eligable to download. Basically, I do a lot of dev offline, back and fourth, and I may need a key at any time. Logically I say to myself "well, they give me 10, so it's fine".. but then I say "but do they think it's werid I claimed all keys?" or do they even care..

I most likely won't actually use more than 3, maybe 4 of each product, but still.

Thanks in advance!

Your account gives you 10 Keys. I suggest you take 10 Keys.

If you got 10 keys, use em. What you do with them is your business. Sell em if you wanted, whats stopping you apart from legalities?

In the words of the immortal Bart Simpson:

Hell no.

The reason they have started to provide so many keys per SKU is due to people requesting new keys when they reach the limits of their old ones. 10 keys per SKU per product, means it can be activated on up to 100 machines per SKU (as many as you want on the same machine), meaning nobody is ever likely to hit the limits, that is why they designed it like it is so I wouldn't worry.

    • No point really. I rarely get any responses to it. Btw, Bing is also an embarrassment for MS for the same reasons. The MS fans around here never engage as they have have no defence to it.
