Sigh...

I wish I could use my Maestro card I got from AIB to buy stuff on steam.

But noooooooooooooooooo.

I guess im lucky, since id probably be broke by now if I could.

Gonna go nag at the onsite AIB on my lunch later. I want a bloody visa or master card so I can buy stuff online again, not being able to do that is a pain!

A PAIN!

Make an empty PayPal account and set up your Maestro card as a fallback on there. Then just pay via PayPal?

How much is the DLC for Burnout Paradise from Steam? Scratch this. Big Surf Island isn't coming to PC. Damn console humpers.

Irish Maestro cards are beyond useless online. If you can get a proper credit card go for it. Or you could apply for a 3V card and use prepaid visa vouchers. The costs are a bit high and they expire after a couple of months, but it's better than nothing.

Prey: $2.25

Space Siege: $4.99

Killing Floor: $4.99

Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box: $7.49

The Orange Box: $14.99

Orange Box is tempting to get but I already have HL Ep 1 and TF2.

Prey is sold out. They've added bioshock to the deals now ($4.99/?4.99).

If I hadn't already beat Bioshock twice, once on Hard (and without dying), I would be all over that.

I personally brought Bioshock last time it was ?3.49 and I personally consider it the best ?3.49 I ever spent on a game, its a wonderful game and I would advise anyone who hasn't got it already to buy it.

Pretty damn sure I am about to buy Killing Floor. Been eying it up forever now and for $4.99 figure I cannot go wrong, even if it sucks it is $5 and I doubt it is going to suck. Anyone have any feedback about the game who might have played it?

EDIT - I already purchased it but still am interested in some feedback. I figure next time I want some fast food I will eat a bowl of cereal instead and I just payed for it.

^ Here's a video of some gameplay. It speaks more than a few words from a fellow Neowinian.

Thanks for this video. I think I should like it, reminds me very much of Zombie mode in CoD WaW, just a bit different, and different is not always bad.

I think of it as a toned down Left 4 Dead with a shopkeeper who has the courage to keep selling weapons and ammunition at reasonable prices in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. :p

I'm definitely picking up Jade Empire for $3.75. I'm most probably add it up with another game for $10. Silent Hill: Homecoming looks like a really good deal too.

Looks like they dropped the price of Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Mr. Robot and Silent Hill Homecoming by $0.01 since the deals were first posted.

There's nothing today that interests me. Picked up Bioshock and Burnout yesterday. Anyway, if I buy more games I don't think I'm going to download them anytime soon. I've already used half my download quota for the month and it doesn't get reset until Jan. 19th

Figures ..the day I go out of town.. Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box: $7.49.

Damn it. I really, REALLY wanted that too.

Anyone feeling in the christmasy spirit still? :(

I just got myself Jade Empire.. but I don't have enough for Burnout Paradise.. :[

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
