Fluid
Fink Commander is a program that installs fink applications, etc. Download and type libtool14 in the search bar install then do the same for dlcompat-dev. Tim Dorr Veteran Posted June 16, 2003 Veteran Share Posted June 16, 2003 can't you just type 'fink install giFT' ? Fink is designed to find dependancies for you from it's database of programs. It should automatically install them for you. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/85815-installing-stuff-using-fink/#findComment-956946 Share on other sites

Nah that don't work :x What you've got to do is either a) download gIFT as it says on the site, via CVS and then install those dependancies with "sudo apt-get install xxx" or b) update FINK to work from the UNSTABLE branch, then use the command "sudo fink install gift" Hope that helps, if not feel free to PM me or reply for more info. Tim Dorr Veteran Posted June 18, 2003 Veteran Share Posted June 18, 2003 I *always* use the unstable packages on fink. Never had a problem as far as I remember, so I recommend it for you guys as well :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/85815-installing-stuff-using-fink/#findComment-962061 Share on other sites
