can't you just type 'fink install giFT' ?

Fink is designed to find dependancies for you from it's database of programs. It should automatically install them for you.

Nah that don't work :x

What you've got to do is either

a) download gIFT as it says on the site, via CVS and then install those dependancies with "sudo apt-get install xxx"

or

b) update FINK to work from the UNSTABLE branch, then use the command "sudo fink install gift"

Hope that helps, if not feel free to PM me or reply for more info.
