table trouble

im working on this dos sorta design for a personal website im making but im having problems with the tables. i can only type in the middle of the box (like navi box), how do i change it so i can control where i can type in the box?

You would need to add the css vertical-align: top; to the td containing the text to get it to align at the top. You may also need to adjust the margins on the p tag as well. However, check out my response to your other thread on how to do this design without any tables.
