It has been updated! Look ;)

Okay, I decided to do Snow (Light blue) first, because that was requested and Flare was not. So I'll be getting to work on Flare by the end of the day and it should be finished by the end of tomorrow. The reason why Snow took so long was that I was almost finished and I decided that the blues I was using were too light, so I went and made all new graphics with a darker blue. I hope you guys like the shade I chose :)

Oh jeez I totally forgot to add the font to the zip! I'll add it in the next update, but for now it's called BitDust Two. You can get it at this page, but if you'd like to wait, I will be sure to add it to the next update. I'm glad you guys like it! :)

EDIT: I do like the idea of an orange, but do you have any suggestion for the name? I've already gotten the colors for the dark and light versions, but I need to figure out the names and keep with the motif that's already there. So if you have any suggestions, they would be very helpful! ;)

Oh jeez sorry it's Planet Kosmos and I can't remember where I found it. I like your ideas, but I think I might modify them just a bit: Sunfire for the darker version and Ember for the lighter version. What do you think? I think it'll work :)

Okay I need some help from the good shellstyle makers. I need to know where to find the place that I can change the background color for the Control Panel and stuff. It's in the UIFILE part right? I just can't seem to find where it is in there. I also need to find out how to change the background behind the task lists. If I'm not clear enough, please tell me and I'll try to explain it better... But I could really use this help. Thanks :)

I just like to say, thanx for update! This skin is my favorite and is perfect work with opera browser. With some other style in opera browser I have in empty space when I use multiple windows, but with this style no empty space around windows.

Now I just wait when you add more lighter colors and can you made start bar compact!

thanx ;)

Although that's the lighter red color... :D I'll have a true orange color scheme by the end of the week, after the lighter green and lighter yellow ones are done. So I guess for now you're enjoying that though ;)

Yeah Firebird has a tendency to have problems with Visual Styles. I'll see what I can do, but I don't know. If you're talking about the fact that there's black text on the blue, then I can't do anything about that (unless there's some fix that I don't know about) but if it's the fact that the text is below where it should be, I'll see if I can't get that fixed.

And yes, I'll make compact start panels, as soon as I figure out how...

    • No. The file manager is a lost cause. After all, its dev receives all the undeserved praise he could evre wish from Neowin, without having actually earned it. This has never lead to improvements.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
