Hi fubarshibby!

I just found this info in some other boards about compact start panel,I hope this is usefull:

you need stylebulider and you need to know how to use it pretty well and use these base sizes

user pane

defalt pane size

0, 0, 16, 336 placeslist

0, 0, 180, 306 proglist

0, 0, 245, 38 userpane

pretty much every theme i use those settings on it looks great if you use a icon size of 64 or up but if you want it lower mess with the 245 in the userpane ( like 220 for 48x48 )

Cheers!

Awesome thank you very much! That helps me out a lot. I was looking through b0seDMX to see any changes and I was looking at the Places Bar sizing and it was the same as any other VS so I couldn't figure out the difference. Well thanks again, you made my life easier ;)

Okay I have a couple of questions for the people who would like a Compact Start Menu. I've gotten it all figured out - thanks to some ^^ help ^^ - but I don't want to make all new substyles just for a small change like that. So, what I would like to find out is what you think could make it any more minimal to go along with it. I just want to make a minimal version of the VS. Any suggestions for that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'll start on the minimal version just as soon as I finish a couple of updates that I'm working on. But, like I posted earlier, I need suggestions that would make it even more minimal, other than the start menu changes. So I'm also kind of waiting on those suggestions.

You don't? There should be two folders in the zip... I just checked it and there were. So I'm not really sure what's wrong. I'll just re-upload the file I guess. Sorry for that inconvenience...

And it seems that Firebird doesn't use any button or tab colors that you give it, so I don't know how to fix the bug. If anybody knows what to change, just let me know because I would really like to fix it.

Great stuff :) I love the green man it's nice and refreshing for once. Any luck with the Phoenix bug?

In the re d/l of the theme I also noticed the sexy smaller start button ;) pretty sexy I must say, great theme.

Sucks about Phoenix though :( but isn't it odd how all the other themes don't have that bug? :s ah well not like thats going to ever stop me from using this kick ass theme :) :uberhump:

the Firebird can be fixed as it has come up a million times before.... something to do with content margins on the scroll well (ie. not the button and not the bar) If I remember rightly.... or something like that.

Try asking a themer like SZ1 or KoL.. I am fairly sure they can help...

ONE!

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard

Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
