You seem to forget the part where MS stated it was a loan and had to be paid back at some point, so yes im pretty sure and confident that the dlc where timed exclusives

That was the rumor I heard as well, yet nobody has ever produced any proof that is was a loan to be repaid. I wonder if it's true.

It is a loan, it's not 50 million upfront for nothing.

People never read the original articles properly and came away assuming it was just 50 million. What it did was make the financial reports look good for Rockstar and investors and give them funding to make the DLC, but sales from the DLC were to payback some if not all of the loan.

MS weren't as stupid as some people thought, no one just hands 50 million away for multiplatform DLC.
