1280x960@100 is 4:3, the only reason to use 1280x1024 is if you're using a LCD. And FYI it's harder for the eyes to see taller things than wider things. Hence widescreen and stuff. So I say a huge badass BLEH to 1280x1024 LCDs. I've got 1024x768 on TV-out as well, but that's just a panning clone.

What sizes are you guys having on your monitors doing 1600x1200? because on mine that's a bit too small, methinks. I've got a 19" one.

I got a 21" Taxan Ergovision with a Trinitron tube as my primary - and that runs 1920x1440x32bpp@75Hz.

My secondary screen is a 19'' LG StudioWorks w/USB hub - which runs at 1600x1200x32bpp@75Hz.

I'd love widescreen, but first Wacom gotta make a 16:9 tablet to make it worth my while!

I was runnin 1280x1024 on my ViewSonic A90f but it started crapping out on me (flickering scan lines on the bottom of the monitor) so I'm sending it back for repairs...I'm gonna be stuck with an old 15in and I dunno HOW I'm gonna survive!!!

6-8 weeks they said...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
