yeah, together with arrested development, they were genius comedy shows. Loved them both.

The new season is leagues above the last two, the awards episode had that classic charm to it.

I am surprised it has been able to hold up so well for 9 seasons. Most show, especially comedies, lose their charm pretty quickly.

 

Watching DeVito walk (waddle) in that show is hilarious in and of itself.

I think it has lasted so long because the show is well written and the cast (who also write it) want to do the show and not doing it because of a contract.

I think FX also give them a lot of freedom to do what they want.

I would still be watching it if they hadn't moved it to FXX, which isn't a part of my cable package...same with the league. Just glad they didn't move Archer over as well.

Awesome show though in any case.
