Automatic updater

Question

Some weeks ago I spotted a thread on the forum for an application which scans your machine for all installed software and goes looking for updates.

I can't remember the name of the app. and I can't find the thread, but what ever it was it installed marketscore.relevantknowledge which looked like a fairly safe survey app... I was wrong.

It turns out marketscore.relevantknowledge is Malware, and it primarily a keylogged.

If someone can point me at the thread for the app, I'll post the same into it.

Edit - the title should read "Automatic updater"

Yes! It was Sumo! Do NOT install this program unless you want a keylogged. http://www.< < spam > >.com/?sumo

There is a version without the "sponsored software". I wasn't aware it was as bad as it is though, i don't think i'll use it anymore if he's bundling spyware!

The program is pretty good but not worth getting infected for.

It does explain why neowin blocks the website from being posted... i didn't realise it did that!
