It looks like they fixed the MS Points price, I just bought it for 1000 points. Still a great deal though. Especially since you can get the points cards for ~%20 below their cash value.

Maybe it's region-specific. I just purchased Batman: Arkham Asylum for 880 Microsoft Points.

Just a heads up, as I'm not sure who all knows about these:

Free HL2, HL2 Lost Coast, and HL2: Deathmatch for ATI users.

Also for Nvidia users:

HL2 isn't free.

For those of you planning on purchasing Supreme Commander 2, you get $5 USD off if you pre-purchase it through Steam (i.e. get it today). Not exactly an earth-shattering discount, but if you already want the game, then you have a free lunch on the day it comes out ;).

Steam

Steam

Games on Demand (Games for Windows Live)

Can we get this moved into Gaming, and stuck?

So it can be like, for ALL Gaming purposes.. ?

There's already a thread for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in their respective forums. A special offers and deals thread for all platforms would be too confusing.

Steam

My friend has been begging me to get L4D2 for months. Told him yesterday that when it goes on sale again I would get it. Open mouth, insert foot. I'm $24.99 poorer.

It is too awesome of a game to pass up at that price! I was anxiously waiting for the price to drop a month or so back, but it was still too new of a game.

Needless to say I bought it anyways and it has been a blast ever since.

Video gaming is the best value when it comes to interactive entertainment. If you $25 for Left 4 Dead 2 and play ~20-30 hours, you're paying $1/hour to play the game.

Nothing beats Steam and Amazon for gaming deals.

Play.com has awesome prices, and comes with free shipping.

    • (macOS) Screen zoom was broken for me in beta 1 and it's now working properly in beta 2. In terms of performance and UI design/consistency, these betas are already much better than Tahoe.
    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.
