Play.com has awesome prices, and comes with free shipping.

The site is legit, I have ordered movies and music from there. Ordered Band of Brothers Bluray from there for 23? (Link)

I can vouch for Play too, as lots of others will do. Free delivery too (Y)

I will recommend everyone pass on the Viva Pinata.

It has Games for Windows Live and when you pick it up, it won't sign you in.

The guy on the support line never heard of the error..

Googling it, turns up this.

With this fix, which I'm not willing to do.

I'm still on hold with Microsoft, and I'll keep everyone posted.

Edit: This fix does not work either.

Microsoft is saying Viva Pinata is at fault, but they aren't aware of how to fix it, so.. yeah.

They're going to do a "quick work around".. but .. until then, they don't know what they're going to do.

A day later on Viva Pinata:

They've told me to uninstall and reinstall. Which I did.

Then if that didn't work, call back.

So. I call back. They do the same thing they told me to do yesterday. (The fix I listed above.)

The great thing?

The guy who is on the tech support line who is using Live Assist couldn't find the System32 directory without my help.:blink::wacko:.

If it wasn't so stupid I'd be laughing.

They're calling me back in 2 & 3 days IF they figure out whats wrong.

:pinch:

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
    • Microsoft have found a way to convert RAM and SSDs into water.
