It was pretty obvious as soon as you saw The Mountain was the crowns champion that Oberyn would step in for his big chance at revenge.  I'm not a book reader so I don't know if he gets utterly destroyed or craftily wins.  2 week wait will be very annoying..

Also, surely Littlefinger is going to bite off more than he can chew soon.

3) T&A needs to be turned back up to the levels of previous seasons.

sadly the daenerys & irri lesbian action from the books probably won't be in the show   unless they do it with missandei

tyrion/dinklage is SUCH A GOOD ACTOR these last couple episodes.

The way they're dragging the story, don't think she'll be making an appearance this season.

It will be the final shot of the season. Episode is titled 'Children of the Forest'. It will cover the Stark children (and Jon Snow) on their various journeys (in addition to the reveal of the actual children when they meet Bran). The last scene will be the reveal of Stoneheart, hanging a Frey, just like her first appearance in the novel.

Are we supposed to know who Stoneheart is at this point?

They haven't even mentioned her existence on the show, so no. They will of course show her face so people know who it is, though.

Cool, thanks! I'm just glad I didn't completely miss something. I'd like to think I'm actually capable of following this show now.

Maybe, sort of, not really, he knows how to play his adversaries like a fiddle and his only weakness is Sansa. Here's two prophecies from the books about Sansa (possible minor spoiler although it's just speculation at this point):

I dreamt of a maid at a feast with purple serpents in her hair, venom dripping from their fangs.

And later I dreamt that same maid again, slaying a savage giant in a castle built of snow.

Is the "savage giant" Littlefinger or somebody else?

I wonder who Littlefinger will pin his murder on in the show.  In the book it's the singer that accompanied Cat and Tyrion when Tyrion is brought before Lysa, but he had much more time in the books once Littlefinger comes to the Eyrie and we haven't seen him so far.  He even tries to rape Sansa in the book during a celebration of the wedding that apparently didn't make it into in the show.

And as far as the fight, it's sort of a 50/50 on both sides of utterly destroyed and craftily wins, although the win will be a much delayed win.  I'll not spoil any more of that though, but needless to say it will be awesome  :woot:

I thought the Mountain wins in the books?

I have no idea. I didn't read the books. I'm just making an assumption on the fact that Oberyn is known for using poisons when he fights, hence his name "the Viper". So I my guess was that even if the Mountain "wins", he may get knicked by Oberyn's spear and die from poisoning. But I guess from your post, that doesn't happen. booo urns.

Actually, you nailed it. Something else happens after that, but no point spoiling it.

What you just said happens. :)  At least in the book.   He dies a long, gruesome death.
