Hmm.. I don't have a cable and download everything in SD due to ###### internet bandwidth restrictions.. so the quality is spot on for what I normally watch.

Also.  checking out the first episode (on my pc) it is nice and clear.  Can see everything that is happening, no artifacts, no lag.  Nice crisp clean video.

Downloaded them, watched the first 10 minutes, and stopped and deleted them.

Quality is subpar (looks like a 360p rip) and although clear, took away from the experience immensely.

100% would recommend NOT downloading these. As commented earlier it doesnt do the show justice.

For those without cable or low internet caps... I would 100% recommend downloading them.  Good quality, clear audio.. I see nothing wrong with them.

it is very noticeable for the first 10-15 minutes for me (since i watch stuff at 720p normally as 1080p is too large)

but then you get used it, and it becomes fine to watch.  depends on how picky you are.    just sit further from the screen, and it is not as noticeable.

still, i highly recommend watching in HD !  since, while the main characters show fine,  the magnificent background views are really watched out.

Watched the 4 leaked episodes. I'm usually very anal about quality but the SD rip was perfectly watchable. It's not like your missing anything plot wise, just the quality of the picture.

Then again, I'll be re-watching them all in 1080p once they're out. Awesome 4 episodes! Really good so far.

Found the premiere rather lame to be honest, with corny scenes like Sansa passing by Brienne and the bedroom scene between Daario and Dany which had porn level dialogue quality (to mention a few).

You should watch listen to porn dialoge more often. You would get a better perspective on how much, MUCH, MUCH better the writing on "Game of Thrones" is. :)

very true.   there is only a handful of movies with dialog that can actually be used in real life.

Talk Dirty to Me from 1980 is one such movie.  in case you are interested ;)

it is funny and it is corny, but if you can pull it of confidently it actually works on women.

premier episodes are almost always lame or boring, it's all setting up the storyline. Episode 2 is much better

porn has .... dialog?

With the show runners going off the rails, I'm sure the show will provide plenty of that:

"- That's why I have the Unsullied patrolling the streets.

- Anyone with a chest full of gold can buy an army of Unsullied. You're not the Mother of Unsullied. You're the Mother of Dragons."

And how about Mance's O faces.

the 4 episodes did not catch me. my fault or does the season start a little lame?

i really enjoyed them.  while parts were slow, overall tone was just what i expected and wanted.

did you enjoy previous season?

if could be your mood, and the fact that you binged them in low quality too.

some parts this episodes, i had to rewind and watch a couple more times, that how awesome they were.  and those parts are enough to keep watching the rest of slow bits.

    • Honestly... 4 wasn't fun, 5 had unlikeable, annoying, or dull characters... Yeah, to me the magic died with San Andreas.
