Ya, some of the best CGI i've seen on TV.

You cannot be serious?? That was some of the worse CGI the series as had.

It was all fine and dandy when it first showed up, but when she flew away on it at the end and they did a close up on her? Hell, the Neverending Story looked better than it did.

That is literally my one and only beef with the show. The consistency of the CGI. It goes from amazing to awful in the same scene. Like they ran out of time, budget, or both.

Maybe that looked like crap, but up until then it was some of the best CGI i've seen on TV.

I don't think it's just the CGI, Drogon looks super natural in most shots, and for instance, on par with what I've seen from the Jurassic World trailers, which is an achievement in and of itself, the problem is, and always will be, when they have to mash humans with it, that's when the fakeness gets accented. But all things considered, time, budget, and the smaller fx studio, I think this was a pretty good achievement.

I do think they will have to increase the budgets significantly, if any future plot calls for all three dragon riders in an action sequence.

I don't really have any complaints about the cgi tbh, it is good enough for me and definitely better than the majority of TV shows imo.

My only gripe is the unsullied army, after being made out to be some of, if not the best warriors, they are useless against normal humans, I dread to imagine how they will do against proper soldiers :p

Talking of which, is there any idea how many are left? Didn't she only have 8,000?

The fight scene from last week's episode was BY FAR the best CGI I have ever seen on TV. By far. So I suppose that is why the CGI that is not so good is so jarring and stands out so much. As I said I would just love consistency.

And do not make any mistake about it, GoT is my current favorite show on TV overall, I love it, but I cannot help but notice the inconsistencies with the visuals. As I said, literally my one and only beef with the show is that.

Technically that's not the end of the story for her this season.

Drogon and Daenerys make a pitstop in Valyria and then they end up in the Dothraki Sea and see good buddy Khal Jhoqo

Since Jorah touched Daenery's hand does that mean he passed on his infection to her???

I think that it only spreads if you touch the infected area. That scene was a callback to last year, when he confesses he was spying on her and reaches out, she denies him ("Don't ever presume to touch me again or speak my name"). This year, she accepts his hand, which symbolically shows that she has forgiven him. It was just a nice visual way to get that point across. I seriously doubt we will see anyone else get infected.

I think Davos will kill the evil redhead and then Stannis will "snap out of the religious brainwashing" and kill himself out of guilt.  AFTER he takes Winterfell.

It's more fun having not read the books.. I can use my imagination more for the show.

They are far off book now, especially the Stannis storyline.

Great ending to a depressing episode. But..

That was the end of Dany's story in the book.

Not exactly. There is another section after she rides away.

Since Jorah touched Daenery's hand does that mean he passed on his infection to her???

Not a spoiler. Don't tag stuff that has aired.

It only spreads if you touch the infected area. Jorah is infatuated with Dany. He wouldn't spread the disease to her.

But she will be back in the new books, right?

Yes, but hopefully she dies soon. Such a worthless character and storyline. And even moreso in the books. They basically turned two chapters from the books into her entire storyline this season. The rest was her sitting around being worthless.  Plus Tyrion hasn't met her in the books. So they added stuff thats still upcoming just to give her stuff to do. She needs to be dead, pronto.

Yeah I know about that, but

it's not a season worth of a story, it would just be a scene.

Oh I'm sorry I forgot to mention there is one more page...

It was an entire chapter, actually. 15 pages.

As far as the Stannis story line goes, shareen was going to die in the books it just hadn't happened yet. George RR reveals this in one of the behind the scenes

Thats not actually what the showrunners said. They just said 'George mentioned that she might die'.

GRRM also said that ASOIAF was 3 books.

Anyone else think this season's "episode 9" was pretty uneventful compared to other seasons? I mean, the Harpy attack at the pit wasn't any worse than the other attacks of theirs that we've seen this season. And nothing else really happened.

The CGI of Daenerys riding the dragon was also a bit laughable too. It was quite jarring actually.
