What is your favorite Meal?

If I'm at a restaurant I'll tend to order Risotto or Manicotti/Cannelloni because they are too much work to make myself. If I'm not interested in a formal night out then I'll do Chicken Vindaloo for something spicy.

If I'm cooking then a wild salmon fillet with a mustard-dill sauce.

There are so many that I could list, but essentially I could eat sushi and sashimi (the actual raw fish not the rolls) every day.

Also a thick cut medium rare steak such as a new york strip cooked by me is always high on the list. Add a little restaurant style seasoned butter thinly sliced and laid on top to melt over the top just as it is pulled off the grill and you have one hell of an enjoyable and juicy steak! My wife could eat that everyday!

Porterhouse slow cooked over a wood fire to a nice medium rare, a baked potato filled with bacon bits, sour cream, butter, and scallions, and some beans cooked over a wood fire washed down with a cold beer.

Comfort food people, comfort food.

Wow, this thread is making me VERY hungry. LOL

Um... This is tough for me honestly, because I so love food... I would say... for a side I would do Brussel Sprouts and a side of turnips... Maybe turkey and stuffing with gravy?

I really love whatever I'm eating at any given moment though, so this could probably change a lot. LOL

I have Chinese food every 2 days. Wonton noodles anyone?

Its easy to find Chinese food in my area, every neighborhood I go to has at least one Chinese shop.

Where do you live? Im Chicago now, but when I was in ny(born and raised) i could find one every 2 blocks in my neighborhood haha.

But atm, I work at a chinese resturant... yes i know, im not chinese o_0. Im just that good xD :ninja:.

But no seriously, I have chinese everyday for lunch, indian food everyday for dinner. Im not a fan of waking up in the morning so I dont have breakfast. I usually Lunch, snack, Dinner. My snack consist of just some flatbread with achar. Makes a great healthy snack as its bread with spice and then im usually gone, not home. So yeah.

But good to meet a fellow chinese lover xD.

Oh, NY is GREAT for Chinese food... The only place I've ever seen them make an egg roll just to my order... And OMG was it amazing... lol

Well, just one at a time. lol They're pretty big egg rolls... But delicious... haha

Just one huh.. That definitely must of been a big egg roll, I'm imagining chime chunga sized ones

I too am a fan of egg-rolls. I always dip em with kikoman soy sauce. The love the joy oh mang.. tomorrow actually I'm about to hit this new Chinese restaurant that just opened in Denton. It's an hour drive from Dallas but it's da bomb!

Oh, it was just a snack. lol I like soy sauce too, but prefer hot mustard for my egg rolls... mmmmmmm

That sounds really nice. I hope it's a nice restaurant. I've been waiting for one to open here for like 9 months... I don't know what's going on there, but I think they were a little premature in putting out the "Coming Soon" sign... LOL

This must be the most impossible question for me to answer, I love so many foods, none really stand out as a clear favorite.

Some I love:

- Steak (rare) with garlic butter

- Roasted Chicken breast seasoned with just salt and pepper

- Calamari

- Any kind of shellfish

This must be the most impossible question for me to answer, I love so many foods, none really stand out as a clear favorite.

Same here.

With that said, If I had to pick an all time favorite, it would absolutely be what I consider to be the traditional New Jersey American breakfast.

Scrambled Eggs + Home Fries (potatoes) + (either) Bacon or Pork Roll + Rye Toast.

I can eat that meal anytime of the day. It is just a classic. All covered in Ketchup BTW.

One of my favorite "regular" meals of all time though is from a Fine Italian restaurant that is in my town actually. I pretty much go there at least once a year for my birthday.

Polio Riccadona - sauteed boneless breast of chicken with Marsala wine, mushrooms & topped with prosciutto & fresh mozzarella

    • Valve finally confirms Steam Machine prices, starts at $1049 for 512GB option by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The $1,428 option The Steam Hardware lineup that Valve announced last year is slowly starting to roll out. Following the recent Steam Controller launch, Valve has now confirmed the price of the Steam Machine, its all-in-one console-like solution for PC gaming in the living room. There are currently four variants being presented, with only the storage and the included controller being the biggest differences. All of the Steam Machines have the same internals consisting of a semi-custom AMD Zen 4 CPU with six cores and 12 threads, an RDNA 3 28CU GPU, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, all inside the familiar box Valve has been showing off for months now. The Steam Machine base model starts at $1,049. This has a 512GB NVMe SSD but does not come with a Steam Controller. Keep in mind that storage can be expanded with the microSD card slot too. Next, the $1,128 model has the exact same storage as the previous one but it does come with the new Steam Controller. If you need the Steam Machine to have more storage for games and apps than that, then the 2TB tiers are also available. The $1,349 Steam Machine has no controller once again, but it does ship with two extra faceplates (red fabric and solid walnut) to replace the standard black one. The final option costs $1,428, and it adds the controller back into the bundle. The Steam Machine ships with the Linux-based SteamOS. The box has a 1 Gigabit Ethernet port, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.0, as well as one USB-C and four USB-A ports. Keep in mind that when purchasing standalone, the Steam Controller has a $100 price tag. With the above bundles, that drops to $80. It's a rather expensive machine for the internals it is touting, though the design and small form factor do help it somewhat. However, at the same time, the lack of upgradability hurts it. Valve says the ongoing parts shortages and massive price hikes for memory were the leading causes for this price. "The overall effect is that our original goal for the price of Steam Machine is no longer viable," added the company. "So the prices we're sharing today reflect the state of the world for manufacturing; or, more accurately, it reflects the price of the components as we've secured them over the past 6 months." Valve wants interested gamers to reserve it now to get the chance to pre-order a Steam Machine starting June 25, with shipping starting on June 29. Head here to sign up. The invites to buy it will be sent in a randomized order.
    • What the press release doesn’t mention, however, is how much water the natural gas plant itself will consume, Natural gas plants use about 2,803 gallons of water per megawatt-hour produced, which is significantly less than coal-fired plants that use around 19,185 gallons per megawatt-hour. Overall, natural gas plants are more water-efficient, using 584% less water than traditional power plants on average. AI generated
