That's how I felt after playing Conquest mode on Nelson Bay. I played again recently and "discovered" what might be the most awesome Medic gun: the XM8 LMG (with the marksman LMG specialization). It absolutely owns when coupled with the red dot sight.

Dear god... I can't find a newbie server to save my life. Everyone is Generals and

Command Sergeant Majors, etc. Getting in late is tough as hell.

That being said, I've discovered that Sniper is by far the most fun for me. Now

if I could just learn to shoot with that damn bouncing crosshair.

Use the GOL. No sway at all. But if you don't have it that, if you use the others enough you won't even notice the sway after a while and automatically adjust to it. The GOL is awesome sauce, too.

Finally hit lvl 50. Not sure how much I'll play now as I'm suffering from "mapathy". Will probably try to earn some stars for weapons though.

Too bad that I'm having absolutely catastrophic games today. :(

Please excuse the noobiness of this question, but what do the different colour dog tags represent?? I've got a few bronze ones and a couple of silver ones but I have no idea why they are different. :unsure:

Bronze tags drop from players ranked from 1 to 21, Silver from 22 to 41, and gold from 42 and above.

Well my stupid game keeps kicking me now. I reinstalled it a few days ago, figured I would start playing again. I manually ran the updates, manually installed/updated punk buster, but still I get in game for a good 3-5 mins and it kicks me with a disconnected from EA type error.......

That's a classic and pretty nice video.

And since you like to be a sniper, spot like a madman and, when you will have the mortar strike unlocked, send a strike on an armed MCOM if you're attacking. That will prevent it from being defused for a short while. Oh, and please use motion sensors so no one would stab you in the back. :)

Anything up with the PS3 servers? Very slow and it says my stats are wiped (although I have my knife dog tags).

Has anyone experienced oddities with bfbcs.com? For some reason it shows that I have unlocked the achievement of getting a roadkill with a helicopter, except I was no where near one today or yesterday. lol

Not that it matters, it's just odd.

I need a better Sig for BC2. The one I have now isn't updating, even though I update on

their site. I hit level 5, yay. Still need a better sniper rifle, though. I can't use the

reticule on the upgrades I've unlocked so far.

P.S.

I keep getting spawn camped and so my average lifetime is only 1.4 minutes. Sucks.

The best solution to baserape is to just leave the server. :p At least in CQ, I never understand why people continue to spawn even though there is a tank and a whole enemy team shooting in the base. What's the point? Laguna Alta, US side can be a great example of this.

Yea, that's what I'm going to have to start doing.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out the different sights on my Sniper rifles. I think I'm the

only guy using the M24. Most seem to use the SV98 SNAIPERSKAYA.

You get exp for every star or medal you get for a gun.

You get:

bronze star- 25 kills

silver star - 50 kills

gold star - 100 kills

Platinum star - 1000 kills
