Play Hardcode mode then, i got annoyed that you have to use up a full clip into someone, with HC mode its brilliant i only play HC now.

It's not that it takes a full clip to kill some one it's that my shots aren't even being detected by the server. On my end it's showing me that I got hits on the person but the server doesn't see it that way so I don't know that HC would solve that issue.

Big fat sigh. The M16 is the worst gun in the game now. I think the F2000 kills more quickly at any rage than the M16, that's how bad it is. With the horrendous hit registration I think I'm lucky if 1 bullet out of the 3 round burst even hits, and that's at close to medium range.

I got a great deal ($25) on the ultimate edition for the 360. Even though I already had the original on the ps3, I couldn't resist.

The onslaught and 1943 made it an easy enough sale.

Lookin' forward to playing through the ranks again.

That Vietnam gameplay video looks nice indeed. Looks like the flamethrower changes the game dynamic quite a bit, especially with the flame tanks. Here's hoping that it just doesn't get annoying with every second player on a server packing the flamethrower.

It amazes me that people still insist on trying to snipe from spawn. I don't know why I still play this game. The amount of idiots in this game far outweigh the people who actually have some idea on how to play.

It's because everyone thinks it's the same as COD, run around and get the best K/D.

I've witnessed people who spend the entire game sniping from their spawn on Conquest without attempting on taking a flag, or people who hang around flags and don't even attempt to take it. The game mode isn't called Team Deathmatch, is it?

You think you've got it bad, it's even worse on the 360. Atleast people on the PC know how to play Conquest from BF2.

Here's a decent multiplayer video, you can hear the music in the choppers towards the end...

To be fair to these 'lame' players, and speaking from very recent experience, you can't expect new players to pick up the game immediately.

It's a big scary battlefield to be thrown into, and the first few times I joined a server I was killed so many times before I'd seen an enemy at all. So instead of bitching at snipers who camp at their spawn help them out. Ingame chat, hey if you moved to xxx it would help both your sniping and our team, blablabla.

Long story short, I didn't know what the **** I was doing. So just because you do and are amazing with all of your advanced weapons and upgrades shut up bitching.

People aren't vetted before they can play. Join a league if you want badasses only.

Amazing game. I'm only really getting great results with the medic so far. Recons fun but I can't resist running into the trouble. Assault weapons seem weak (only unlocked the first two so far) and mags are too small when you're used to 200 rounds. :p

Stick with Medic to rank fast.

You can't really expect a fully functional team on a random server, though it's not nearly as bad as you make out. I am often surprised at how much team work I get when playing with random folk.

I totally understand what you're saying. I've taking it into consideration, I'm wrong and wish to retract my statement. I'll let that rank 50 sit and snipe from the tree line outside his base the intire game of Conquest, on Panama Canal.

Well, here's the situation that set me off. It was on Isla Inocentes. We started off pretty good with team work and took out one of the mcoms pretty fast. But after that, I'm not exaggerating here the entire team decided it wanted to camp on the hill or snipe from the trees to the left of the spawn area. I was the only one rushing the mcom and dieing for it, meaning I didn't get any kills. At the end of the round I was dead last in score because of this fact and it ****ed me off because they're like "lolzers you're dead last in score what do you know stfu up noob". And not all of these people were new to the game, as well. Rage quit commenced..

I don't deny people their own playing styles, but I mean really??? They play to lose? What is the point in even playing if you're not gonna try to win. I wish the scoreboard showed your overall score per minute and not K/D. I may not have the best KDR but not very many people have a higher spm.

That's the main reason I stopped playing Rush all together.

Got sick of being the only one, going right after the MCOMs, just to have an entire team waiting for me.

And defending is just as sucky IMO, everyone goes their way, leaving MCOMs alone.

Cool, glad I could help...tongue.gif

You're assuming the people I was playing with were all new to the game. They weren't. Most of them were above rank 35.

Like I said, I don't begrudge people their own playing styles, if you want to spam the CG or snipe from spawn be my guest. I might not like it but there are a lot of things people do that I don't like. But when an entire team decides they'd rather sit on a hill side and admire the scenery and then tell me I'm the worst player on the team because I'm actually trying to go after then objectives.. well, we'll have issues then.

So please don't assume I'm "bitching" without cause. I do say "hey guys, move up, use smoke to cover yourselves" and things like that, but yeah.. you can lead a horse to water..

    • Anthropic introduces Claude Tag, a new AI teammate for Slack by Fiza Ali Anthropic has announced Claude Tag, a new feature that lets teams work with Claude directly inside Slack. The idea is simple: once Claude is added to a Slack workspace and given access to selected channels, users can tag @Claude in conversations and assign tasks. Claude can then work through those requests using connected tools and data sources before posting its results back into a Slack thread. What makes Claude Tag different from a typical chatbot is that it's designed to operate as a shared assistant for an entire team rather than a single user. Everyone in a channel interacts with the same Claude instance. This allows the team members to see ongoing work and continue tasks started by others. Furthermore, Anthropic says the AI can build context over time by following conversations in channels where it has permission to operate. This means users don't have to repeatedly provide the same background information for every request. The system is also designed for asynchronous work. Instead of waiting for responses in a chat window, users can assign a task to Claude and return later once the work is complete. Anthropic says Claude can break larger requests into multiple steps and use connected tools to complete them. Moreover, the system can also schedule follow-up tasks and continue working on projects over extended periods. Another feature allows Claude to keep the users updated and follow up on unresolved tasks when its optional "ambient" mode is enabled. The company says the tool is already being used internally for software development, data analysis, support workflows, and debugging. According to Anthropic, around 65% of its product team's code is now generated through its internal version of Claude Tag. For organisations concerned about security, administrators can control which channels, tools, and data sources Claude can access. Separate Claude instances can also be configured for different departments, helping keep information isolated between teams. Administrators can also monitor activity logs, review completed tasks, and set spending limits at both the organisation and channel level. Claude Tag is now available in beta for Claude Enterprise and Claude Team customers and runs on Claude Opus 4.8 that was announced this May. The feature will also replace Anthropic's existing Claude in Slack application, with current users able to migrate within a 30-day migration window. Lastly, eligible customers will receive introductory credits to help teams evaluate the new experience.
