kinghat Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 i was wondering if there was a way to connect to a server on my network and see all of the boot processes and what not... i know that remote desktop will not let you do this, but i dont want to connect a monitor and mouse just to setup a couple drive in raid on it.. i obv dont have a clue how to go about that but im sure its possible.. the computer i am connecting to runs win 7 and my computer i am connecting from also runs win 7.. any help would be awesome... .Kompressor Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Unfortunately IPMI is a feature mainly on server boards.....yours doesn't seem to have it. so I'm afraid a KVM over IP switch is probably the best solution....but they aren't cheap. :( Also maybe Radmin Remote control software might be the cheapest option....using Intel AMT/vPro Technology. here's a Radmin demo showing how you can remotely boot into the bios over the network, etc..
