If you want to make your own context menus in Win7 without installing any 3rd party software, heres an example :

This menu is shown when you right click on the desktop, but you can add menus that work with specific filetypes as well.

Here are the .Reg files for the above menu, ( install and uninstall )

It's pretty easy to do, just see the .Reg files.

Made one too for NTFS compression. rolleyes.gif It uses compact.exe and skips over files that have already been compressed/uncompressed unlike the GUI.

I'd be interested to know if there are delays or pauses in accessing such a menu, when cpu/hdd is searching for the programs and their reg entries to display the icons and so on. Would be nice to know before I put my own programs menu on :)
