n0rcal
I've been searching HIGH and low for any information, yet I seem to be getting nowhere. Has anyone gotten OpenSSL working on mIRC Windows 7 x64? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/888412-openssl-mirc-x64-not-working/ Share on other sites
n0rcal
Of course after I posted this I figured it out... went to: http://code.google.com/p/openssl-for-windows/downloads/list grabbed: openssl-0.9.8k_WIN32.zip (YES 32) added: libeay32.dll & ssleay32.dll from the BIN folder to mIRC (C:/Program Files (x86)/mIRC) folder. +BudMan MVC Posted March 31, 2010 MVC Share Posted March 31, 2010 What server are you trying to connect to? Does it support SSL? I just tested on my win 7 x64 bit install.. Ran the openssl install from this page http://www.mirc.com/ssl.html Then picked a test server from that same page.. When connecting to the server got a message about not trusting the ssl cert - to be expected.. Then just did a /whois on my name - and shows using secure connection Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/888412-openssl-mirc-x64-not-working/#findComment-592418046 Share on other sites
