Aergan
Google, as said, integrates with everything else I need: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Bookmarks, Google Apps & iGoogle. I generally find what I'm looking for 1-4 result links into a search query, I don't get such reliability from Bing or any other search engine to be perfectly honest. Given Google's feature set, I really can't fathom how people can claim Bing is a more powerful "decision engine" other than it seems to be bloated with non-relevent meta data for each result query. ____
I used to use Live for maps and shopping, and google for everything else, but now that bing has improved to the point where its just as good for web searching I use it for everything. Ayepecks
Google. I tried Bing, and it simply never gave me the results I was looking for in what I'd consider a good order. Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted April 3, 2010 Global Moderator Share Posted April 3, 2010 been using bing for a long time now. really love everything about it. only time ill use google is if i need to look up images. thats about it heh, same. I find the image search a little rubbish. They need to put those spiders activity on extremely high or something. Bing will take another year or so to gain any kind of traction. As for now, the search decision engine is great :) Is Bing not that good for image searching then? kiwi89
I use google. Its like a reflex now, I don't think I could go and use something else. Especially since my mail, calendar etc is already in google. Paul Ferson Veteran Posted April 3, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 3, 2010 I like them both, but I do think that I prefer Google. Bing works well, but I just don't use it as much. I tried to use it without using Google for a couple of days and I always found myself going back to Google for something. But I do think Bing is a great engine as well, and it could overtake Google in the future. Kralik
Google 98% of the time.. right from the Chrome address bar :p Bing in IE.. both are great.. but I prefer Google search coz I'm used to it.. I love how customizable and easy it is and search can be catergorised.. I've shopped using Google search and then clicking Shopping on the top.. I love how simple it is.. Guest xiphi
I use Bing for most things, but if it's tech related I'll try Bing first then Google. Lately, they've been getting similar results. Have you ever tried Bing for your own social life? What about a movie? Or a shopping place, plane tickets, weather at a certain area, stocks, etc. Bing is very capable of pulling up a good amount of information and keeping you connected to it all. It's weak spot is those power-searches, which apparently, is all your using it with and saying it didn't work. Anibal P
Every time I use one of those sites that checks all the search engines for you, I end up using Google's results, Bing and Yahoo just don't give me what I need Never tried Bing maps because Google maps gives me what I need too. I see no point in changing at the moment Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/888926-google-or-bing/page/2/#findComment-592432218 Share on other sites

C_Guy
For the most part, Bing offers a superior experience and search results. It's cleaner, classier, and free of a hypocritical tagline. Howling Wind
Google. Even though Bing is good. I just still use google. It seems to find what I want easier. Maybe I'm just used to how you need to word things when searching with Google of Bing.
