MKV issue with jetAudio

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to resolve an audio issue with some (but not all) of my videos in the MKV format. They sound fine in Media Player Classic, but muffled in jetAudio. Haali Media Splitter and AC3 Filter both display in the systray when using MCP, but only Haali displays when using jA.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks :)

PS: Please don't suggest other players. I'm posting here to fix this particular problem, not switch programs.

Check the video in Graphedit. It might provide you the information about which filter is causing the issue.

Try different combination of filters in Graphedit and see if one works better; you can then change the priority of the filter if needed to solve your issue.

What version of Jetaudio are using? I have not had any issues with Jetaudio and .MKV files... also have you updated to the most current codecs? Try Shark's 007 Codecs

I purchased the latest build 8.0.4.1000 Plus VX. This problem doesn't occur with all MKV videos, just a few.

I'm running XP MCE SP3, so that codec pack won't work for me. Actually, I want to avoid installing a multi-codec pack if possible, they've always seemed to create as many problems as solutions. Of course, it's been a couple of years since I tried one, maybe they've improved?
