Sam Lake, the story writer for this and the max payne games is a HUGE Twin Peaks fan. If you've played the 2 max payne games then you know, it's jammed with Twin Peaks tidbits etc.

WOW. Definitely pre ordering this at work now. Its a BUY for me just by watching that trailer.

Happy its finally coming out and its gonna push the 360 hard as far as performance goes. I do also like the Difficulty Adjustment.

As someone mentioned yesterday to me, it looks like it will be the closet thing to a modern day Silent Hill (the second I would presume being the best one :p), but this also looks like it will be just as scary, and me and scary games don't always get along very well, I could handle Dead Space, but only because if I got stuck I could run the crap away, lol.

And while I would agree it looks nice, the pre-rendered scenes are great, but the normal game doesn't seem to look that much better than some of the Multi-Platform games we get these days, let alone some of the console exclusives.

I have yet to play the game (obviously), but based on videos, it looks like this might be the new bar for graphics on consoles IMO. I just wish I had the damn game. It's another month for me (US release). :(

While the videos might not have really impressed me visually, I would still give it a hands on to have a play.

I don't know about a demo. I assume they could do a demo similar to Heavy Rain, with a tutorial built in that doesn't have much for spoilers.
