GH Moderation: The concept of "Home Turf"

I don't agree. I would almost go as far to say that it defies alot of the points of the forums. If people wanted 100% positive talk and no debation between systems they can visit console specific forums. Were will you draw the line between ok criticism and trolling? Because at the moment your not allowed to troll anyway so I don't see the point on making it anymore stricter.

As the owner of 3 consoles and 2 handhelds, It's really intetesting seeing some discussions unfold from the outside. I mean, it's pretty obvious when someone tries to troll, even when it's just mild or silent trolling. It's also pretty obvious when someone is just raising a legitimate discussion. And it's obvious when people are jokingly taking stabs with good clean fun. I just find it funny when people are too sensitive with a specific platform. Or when someone tries to troll and gets super defensive if someone calls them out on it.

When it comes down to it, we're really all just talking on an internet messageboard (which has more order than 99% of other boards) talking about products made by companies that make billions of dollars that have very little or no relation to us. Even if any if us are employed by said companies.

I guess what I'm saying is, let's grow a pair, get over it, and move on.

Every mod won't know whos alliance falls where, however we all communicate alot and consider things like warnings before hand. At the end of the day we don't want members to troll/flamebait but we do want intelligent discussions going on in GH. Your Sony fans don't tend to have much of a hatred towards each other as towards a member from the Microsoft camp coming along and flaming. That is when the problems arise and we will moderate it carefully. Trust us :)

If you guys really think this is going to work... then okay, I'll trust you all. Good luck with it! :)

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?

    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
