I doubt it will be fixed this late because a lot of bugs have been moved to FF 5 just to get 4 out the door by end of march maybe.

Yeah, I agree. Just wish it would be fixed, as it's a big letdown for me. Can't believe it's going to be default on the browser. Almost unbearable to read on a lot of websites.

I don't know about you, but for me fonts with or without HA have almost no difference. As someone said with HA they are a bit blurry, but just a bit.And are not "Unreadable".In fact i seem to like the HA fonts more now than the font without HA.Some people are just too picky and want everything. Like a saying goes "You can't have everything".

That type of font looks terrible. They should at least have it so you can have how the font used to be on Fx 3.6 without bugs on that even. I'm not a fan of regressions like this.

Can't stand the custom interface Firefox uses on Mac OS X. It tries to look and act like an application that uses native APIs, but clearly it still doesn't.

Firefox button on Windows doesn't follow the proper upper right button design either, same with Opera.

I'm confused. On my desktop, every time I reload the session with all tabs, it works normally.

On my notebook, when I click on any time, it reloads before I can use it normally.

Anyone having the same problem?

Your desktop must be faster. Firefox 4 staggers tab loading on a recently used basis, but if the computer is slow or overloaded, it might not end up loading tabs until you click on them (I often get it on my Mac since it only has 2GB of RAM)

Well, yeah, it is. But not so much. I mean, both have 4 GB RAM and Core 2 Duo (I'll upgrade soon) processors. Different models, though. Anyway, thanks for the help!

    • As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.
    • Well, they (LibreOffice/The Document Foundation) are bitchy and whiny, yes, but they're right, at least this time. It doesn't make sense to market something as "free and open source to thwart dependency on foreign companies' software" but at the same time, using the format of said companies (Microsoft) by default. That way, you are changing nothing, essentially, you're just using another UI. I'm not saying they should drop other formats altogether, but they shouldn't default to the thing they're trying to run away from in the first place. If you're gonna do something, just go all the way in, don't stop in the middle, IMO.

    • Vivaldi 8.0.4033.46 by Razvan Serea Vivaldi is a cross-platform web browser built for – and with – the web. A browser based on the Blink engine (same in Chrome and Chromium) that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. Vivaldi is produced with love by a founding team of browser pioneers, including former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who co-founded and led Opera Software. Vivaldi’s interface is very customizable. Vivaldi combines simplicity and fashion to create a basic, highly customizable interface that provides everything a internet user could need. The browser allows users to customize the appearance of UI elements such as background color, overall theme, address bar and tab positioning, and start pages. Vivaldi features the ability to "stack" and "tile" tabs, annotate web pages, add notes to bookmarks and much more. • I'm surprised they haven't found a way to fix that. As much as I don't like software wasting memory, a file manager is the kind of thing that makes sense to keep running in active memory for super-fast recall. I suspect that is why MS makes their File Explorer part of the main explorer.exe shell, so that it is guaranteed to always be running.
