the rc1 build1 will probably be here within the next few hours, the source code is there, no compiled builds yet though, the definitive RC1 won't be out for several more days as they also take a few days to test the builds.

look again I dont know but 15 minutes ago I download the linux installer

firefox-4.0rc1.tar.bz2

It doesn't make sense, but thanks for replying! So, it will be fixed in the RC then? What about the memory usage that is supposed to be decreased in the latest nightlies? Also, thumbnails are supposed to load faster in Panorama. I hope those fixes made it into RC!

Ha ha ... I mean like this ...

menu.jpg

In older builds the second (sub?) menu was floating on top of the 1st menu .. and that was when the corruption you saw was happening!

Oh, ok. Well, I'm just glad it's fixed. It should def be fixed in RC then, right? How did you get blue colored folders? Thanks for replying!
This theme is pretty cool, but I wish I could tone it down a bit. The toolbar icons are a little too big.

Any similar themes? I like the silver and blue. I like the blue scroll bar. Just need the icons to be a little smaller.

Did you miss the last twenty posts where various people said they like them?

Alright, you liked the previous ones. Which didn't match Fx3.6 anyway. You evidently don't speak for everyone. And you can customize it back if you must.

My personal view: I'm happy with it. The extra height might be just a little too much, but that's v minor.

You should check this bug out... tons of people are having fits over it. The tabs are now too tall.

there was a stylish script posted 2 or 3 pages back that fixes it

Tss posted the solution here (ht tp://for ums.mozil lazine.org/viewt opic.php?p=10490261#p10490261) but filing bugs is more fun ;)

Based on the very last comment in the bug report, whatever the height is right now is the final. To me, Mozilla found the optimal height.

Say, am i the only one who have trouble with Flash in Beta 12? YouTube typically take some time to come up, where in that time the browser freezes, and when i scroll up and down on a video page, typically one with many comments, it just stutters and freezes. Like it's flash causing trouble. I have the newest version and all, tried disabling addons but to no avail.

I had it to but It looks like it has been solved in the latest nightly builds, hold on to the upcoming RC

It says unsigned, but it's up! Sadly, a lot of my important extensions aren't working. :-(

I hope there's a workaround for this, cause nightly tester tools isn't fixing them.

    • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
