I still say that's the best costume/make-up job hollywood has ever done for a movie. You go blue girl who can be anybody but has to wear paint for clothes!

I will let my friend know. Literally my best friend from college, he was part of the 25 or so man special effect team that was responsible for just Mystique in the first 2 movies. He was specifically in charge of just her lighting sources. Literally that was his entire responsibility. The lighting in the scenes. Pretty crazy stuff. He showed me some case study videos that he uses for college lectures that he put together based on the work, and just one scene can have upwards of over 50 light sources (lightbulbs, windows, cyclops' beam, etc. etc.) and it is ultimately those light sources that make it look hyper realistic or not. He wound up leaving the special effects house that was responsible for the effects to start his own company, almost entirely because of the crazy schedule and work hours thanks to this character. And the fact he had worked with enough light sources to last a life time.

OH man, can't wait to see this this weekend! It's looking like it's gonna be a great summer!

(only thing that would make it better is if Dark Knight " 3" and Terminator "6" was coming out this summer too! :woot:)

Went to a 12:20 show this afternoon. The movie was great! My favorite of the 4 by far. Consistency with the comics aside, it had a great story, good elements of humor and good action. Everything the X-men should be!

The actors were all very good and Magneto was a bad ass!

5/5!

Best X-Men movie to date, and could be contender for maybe even one of the best live action comic adaptations. The actions scenes were great, the acting was brilliant, and the special effects top notch. So many awesome little cameos and tributes paid, along with , of course, Kevin Bacon as the master villain. I would love to see another movie in this exact style, maybe even just a sequel, if they could possibly do one as good...

Most memorable part for me - " What's that sound?"

ehh, its just Azazel dropping people from the sky.

His fight scenes were just totally bad ass.
