Please could someone tell me, in a very easy way, how to use the ListView control.
If by "Modernized user experience" means usability downgrades like worse taskbar, worse start menu, worse context menu and less customization no wonder people haven't switch because lack of features that all previous version of windows had. With "Speed" means taking 4 years to fix AMD ryzen CPU performance while currently intel 12th gen have performance regressions. All the inconsistency that guess what w10 dont have and to this day still run better, snappier, with less hardware requirements and better optimized. Maybe new hardware will run better on new OS but most most likely they already have w11 and pretty much still hate it compared to people its still w10 running on hardware that its still good but Microsoft decided that its not good enough on the bloated, bug infested and unproductive OS.
Dude, if that's all your mom does on her computer, then Linux is perfect for her. Your mom is the ideal Linux user, believe it or not. I personally recommend Linux Mint Cinnamon, as it's very Windows-like in terms of UI and UX.

Just pick any mirror and away you go. You can try it as a live image before installing it to see if your mom will actually like it.
Even Edge on Android supports extensions like AdGuard and uBlock and it has its own ad blocked integrated as well. Google Chrome is actually the worst mobile browser if you're worried about ads and privacy.
