Other than that damn NY Yankees background (I'm a BoSox fan myself :) ) that UI is (not the dock) is nice. What's the theme and is it available to download?

how do you get your objectdock's to behave like that guys?

maybe I'm operating my copy wrong, but its set up to add a fake icon ever right click and doesn't drag shortcuts into it..

do you have a different version from mine?

Hehe, jealous Red Sox fan, j/k:lick: The theme is just a slight modification to Sapphire.

timdorr: The docks are DesktopX, version 1.1 i think.

i was browsing through all the past threads in this topic and i saw that some of you had iTunes running on your PCs? is that a skin for a player or itunes for pc?

where can i find the skin/program?

There is an iTunes skin for WMP and Coolplayer that i know of. Search around and you'll fine them.

Just thought I would throw this shot of an actual MacOSX desktop in for those who are still aiming towards making the most accurate copy of Aqua on their Windows desktop.. I thought about keeping quiet for a while and making out this WAS my windows desktop.. but I knew I would just end up getting nailed sooner or later :)

Tell me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't this thread actually go under Neowin.net Board > Operating Systems > Support: Linux & Macintosh ?

I can understand if OSX isn't used enough to have it's own desktop thread. I guess XP users can spare the space...but it was my understanding that this thread was for WindowsXP machines that were skinned to match OSX.

I just think it's funny, and I'm certain someone will point out the error of my ways...but I had to post something.

Yea, it kinda goes back and forth between XP skinned OS X desktops and actual OS X desktops. But i like seeing both really.

Just my humble idea, but i use Litestep, and i recnetly stumbled across a new module for it which allows you to place shortcuts on your desk, with rollover and click effects, and it supports real XP alpha blended transparency, so wouldnt that let you run a realistic looking OSX dock? I dunno, cos ive never really been inot making an OSX machine with dock. However if someone can post an image of the dock with any rollover effects it might have etc. and ill tell you if its possible with this dll. Just an idea.

the poor quality of the mac icon is down to me rushing and not having an image editor that can handle alpha blended images, this is just to demonstrate the principle.

hey umes i used to use litestep but the thought of me having to prgram so much and not being able to have icons on my desktop got to me...wats the name of this .dll ur talkin about???? it would help to know at least post somelinks man...and give some more info....i cant work with the little bit u just gave
