This is the first time I've posted here, but I've been using this as a source for skins for a while.

That is the best OSX immitation I've ever seen.

I'm with the guy above me, you need to post the files you used to make that happen. I've tried to download them from Aqua-Soft, but their links are broken.

I would really like to be able to change IE without webblinds...I keep trying stardock products and end up turning them off about 10 minutes later...I just cannot stand the look. Not a knock...just a personal opinion. Anyway...how do you change the toolbars with reghacker or reshacker...or whatever...anything beside a seperate program that sits on top.

damn neyo...i thought my desktop looked good. lol. :s

see, i like OSX but there are some things i don't like about it like the finder and i like my close/min/max buttons on the right and not left which i'm used to after using windows for so many years. i think desktopX can sometimes be more hassle than the benefit it provides and isn't worth my time. i like that you have the icons at the bottom and they are transparent. are you using aquadock for that?

here's my desktop for anyone who's interested.

Im also wondering about the links to the different apps used by Neyo. What application allows the "object bar" at the bottom?

I think he's using AquaDock, that was one of the programs he listed afterall.

I'd post my own desktop, but my computer is too slow to run all thats required. :(

The first one is using a square edged aqua theme, the second is standard aqua (graphite style). The dock has been hacked on both to remove the lined background in both pics, and in the first one the terminal transparency has been hacked. I can also take some snaps of a theme called Sosumi, and other snaps of the desktop for anyone developing an OSx theme.

Personally on my XP box I use Blackcomb 1.1 since I already have 2 boxes running OSx.

Edit: Sorry about the size of the pics, perhaps you could use a [LVLSHOT] hack like other UBBs?

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
