OK, I just asked GTPlanet about it on Twitter, and they're already working on confirmation for it.

That doesn't mean anything, there can and will be some quality issues. Been plenty of other games with long development and still end up having issues. However, we shall see but the wait has been long enough already.

Yeah, nothing is perfect. Kaz has already admitted the game does have some issues they couldn't iron out. For example at the beginning of a race, with full grid in the rain the game will drop below 60fps, but overall I don't think it'll be that bad :)

I hope not! not to mention if it's true I'll never hear the end of it from a mate who insists GT5 is vaporware and will be delayed :rofl: :p

If true, several weeks isn't that bad, better than months lol

If there is a proper reason to do with the actual game, then I would rather they delay it than push it out and patch it later.

I think they've had enough time now.

Aren't you selling or have already sold your PS3, surely it doesn't matter how long it takes now that you wont be getting it.

They probably saw your tweet and realised that if your not going to be buying and playing it, its not worth making anymore. :p

Weren't you in the process of jumping out the closet? You shouldn't be caring about GT5 either, you should be caring about testicles and hair products - Shush!

Tomorrow (Tuesday) Belgian press will be shown the full game apparently, which they'll get to play for 2 hours.

Wednesday the Dutch press' turn, with Jeroen Bleekemolen present, as well as an SLS AMG car.

Everybody, relax!

The abovementioned delay is only for Russian Federation, as our local distributors are having troubles with CIS version yet again.

There's no need to spam SCEE and SCEA on release dates, hopefully you'll receive everything as it should be - the 2nd (USA), the 3rd (Europe) and the 5th (UK).

There was big misunderstanding as russian delay press-release mentioned "worldwide release postponed", but it seems they kind of considered CIS a whole "worldwide" region.
