Can't say I know what the Chrome Line is, lol.

The Joystiq article says these will be japan only, hopefully there not, but if they are then I hope they work across accounts or I guess you can just play the game on a Japanese accept and gift them to your proper one, lol.

Chrome Line were the DLC cars to those that bought the Collectors edition. Stealth to the Signature.

- regular monthly updates

- new, large update scheduled for 20th December

- possible inclusion of El Capitan, Seattle and New York, probably

Congrats You Win!

Thanks! :) Shame the game isn't connecting to the servers for me to claim it now. Hopefully a reset will work.

*sigh* I'm connected to the servers now (I think), and nothing's showing up in the Gifts section. :( I had this problem before with Pheee. He sent me a car no problem, then when I sent him one, it came out of my garage, but it never went into his.

restart your console, goto community and check gifts.

^ Still no luck. :( I'll try another restart, as when I started up this time, it told me straight away it couldn't connect to the servers.

Well just wait till the servers come online and you will get it, it might just take some time.

Okay Problem solved for MightyJordan, After the recent server maintenance and Fiasco last Saturday you have to clear your network cache in the settings menu regardless if you are not experiencing any problems it might improve system performance.

Finished at last. :) Went pretty well, but I had a scare on lap 57/60. I was halfway round, then all of a sudden, the car's power cut out. I ran out of fuel. Fortunately, it wasn't the end of the world, as instead of spluttering to an undignified stop like you would in real life, you're simply limited to cruising at 49MPH until you get to the pits. It was my fault for getting cocky, and trying to see how the car performed on a light tank. :p

Got this game on Friday, enjoying it so far and on A-spec I'm on level 7.

Only complaints I have right now are the awful shadows, most noticeable at the beginning of each race, and no damage. It's really starting to get on my nerves now that there's no damage immediately, can someone please tell me when I can expect to see some damage?

full damage in arcade from the start...i think theres some at lv.10 and full at lv.40 but i could be mistaken. it was mentioned a couple (man) pages back in this thread

shadows really disappoint me each time i start a race, that and the tearing, so much tearing

^ Argh, jealous! I think I'm still a long way from getting the X1. I'm only level 25 at the moment. :(

The challenge to get the car is super hard man, good luck when you get to it cause it's frustrating.

What level do you have to be at to unlock the challenge? I'm running out of events to finish now to level up. I've completed all the Special events (still got to get gold on a few of them though), got gold on all championships on the first three A-Spec tiers, with just one to go on the Expert Series, and two on the Extreme Series, then the remaining 8 endurances to go.

You unlock the challenge at level 30, to level up easier try doing all of the special events as they give a lot of XP for Golding them, but as others said (let the grinding begin) as you will have to do already unlocked events repeatedly to make any progress to the next unlocked event and level.

Also here is a spreadsheet with everything you might need or want to know GT5 Spreadsheet

Ha. I remember running out of fuel on my first endurance race in Forza 3. I wasn't happy.

I haven't gotten to the endurance races in GT5 yet.

    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. Lastly, the Redline Racing Bundle is touting games like Art of Rally, Descenders, Mudrunner, and Assetto Corsa Competizione with a $10 price tag. • Exciting! It’s amazing how hearing Japanese can naturally enhance the perceived quality of any experience or product.
    • Your other comment in another article says otherwise, namely "Microsoft veteran wants to replace every single line of C/C++ code with Rust and AI".
