Castlvania for sure!

Limbo intrigues me.

Lara Croft looks good but may play like crap so will wait for demo.

Hydro Thunder will be good fun. Liked the DC version, but sadly, you couldn't win on racing skill alone, forcing you to get every power-up in sight.

Monday Night Combat least interesting too me. Reminded me of American Gladiators for some reason.

I'll be getting Limbo, I love the art style of the game, and even used it as research as part of one of my University Projects.

I will also be getting Castlevania as I do like my Metroid-Vania type games, and want to see how the whole multi-player aspect pans out.

I didn't know if we had dates, so here we go anyway, lol.

First up is Playdead's phenomenal physics-based platformer Limbo, launching July 21 at 1200 MS points.
Hydro Thunder Hurricane screams across the finish line and onto the marketplace July 28 at 1200 MS points.
The rather awesome-looking Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, a multiplayer version of Konami's long-running vampire slaying series launches August 4, priced 1200 MS points.
Released on August 11 at 1200 MS points, Monday Night Combat is a brutal mix between FPS team deathmatch modes and the TV show Gladiators.
Finally, the superb Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light swings onto the marketplace August 18 at a generous 1200 MS points.
As an added bonus, if you buy any four of these games, you get the fifth one free. Thanks Microsoft!

decided to give Lara and her boys another chance after my last horrible experience with them, which i think was one of the things DM and myself started fighting over heh heh...it's all in the past. but this Guardian of Light looks really good, love the isometric perspective.

@Neo, Underworld is a fantastic game and you know it :p

Really not sold on the new game though. Right now the only 2 I'm buying are Hydro Thunder & Limbo.

Edit: ffs Corris you had to time that just right didn't you, now I gotta edit my post so he knows I'm replying to him!!

DM, oh no, you named the abomination, i seriously forgot what it was called! now i'll start waking up in cold sweats again, "no....checkpoint doesn't mean saved...rungs on wall don't mean a long jump will work...no...no...no!!!!!!"

i think the new Lara game will be much better, it looks cool.

I got all excited for a moment, I totally mis-read the offer as buy any of the 4 and get the 5th free thinking I could buy Limbo and get Lara for free  haha. Probably only going to be getting Limbo and Lara from these

I see what you mean, changed it. Hopefully it's clear now (Y)

I just looked at the gameplay trailer for Limbo. Damn, that game looks pretty cool. I'll have to wait for a demo, but if nothing else, that art style is beautiful.

Of all the games in that list, the only one that's a day one purchase for me is Castlevania. I'll buy Limbo as well if the demo turns out to be good. Hydro Thunder and Monday Night Combat don't interest me at all, and Lara Croft will probably fall by the wayside with all of the other games I have to play (including Trials HD from the last Summer of Arcade).

Nothing this year that's as epic as Shadow Complex, but still a solid collection nonetheless.

Yeah, I read it like that too. :p

Out of those, I'll try out Monday Night Combat, and Lara Croft, and I'll possibly be buying Hydro Thunder.

BTW, am I the only one here that didn't like Shadow Complex? And not just because the author, Orson Scott Card, is homophobic and against same-sex marriage. I just thought it was overhyped, for what it was.

Card didn't even write for the game, he helped create the back story for the world that this game, the upcoming game and an upcoming novel are based in. I didn't see any homophobic themes in the game and I doubt Card is seeing any huge cut from the sales of this game. If you tracked the political standings of all the game developers in the world I'm sure you could find plenty of places that have people who are homophobic or otherwise closeminded/nosy on staff that are profiting from your purchases.

Yeah, I read it like that too. :p

Why should that matter to me? Personally, I would support buying the game if you want to get onto that subject.

Back on top, I tried the demo and didn't really care for the game.

As for this years line up, I will most likely be purchasing Limbo and I'll check out Lara Croft.

I didn't care for Shadow Complex. It was alright, don't get me wrong, but not amazing or anything.

Just bought the Worms 2 expansion (Battle Pack), and it was a letdown. The new features are pretty weak. Wish they would've focused on even more landscapes and included better weapons in it.

Destination Arcade delayed one week to release with Summer of Arcade, and is only a limited time release:

I wanted to let you know that the Destination Arcade release date has been moved to next Wednesday to kick off the launch of the Summer of Arcade. We?ll start on July 21st with Limbo, followed by Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Castlevania Harmony of Despair, Monday Night Combat and we finish it off with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Also remember that if you purchase all five titles, and you?ll receive 1200 Points back. Complete schedule and details here. As I mentioned in my original post, Destination Arcade will only be available in the US. If I learn of any plans for other regions, I'll be sure to let you know.

Edit: I have learned that the Destination Arcade app will only be available for the duration of the Summer of Arcade promotion which ends August 18th.

    • I made a new Cinematic/Trailer for the game, this will be the intro, still a work in progress!  I also updated the Steam page with a ton of new screenshots! 👀 https://store.steampowered.com/app/3925340/Incoherence_Dark_Rooms/
    • Closed-loop cooling and a custom 800G network protocol let the $7.3B campus run as one AI training machine. Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA. The result, according to Microsoft, is the closest thing to a purpose-built AI supercomputer that any company has ever placed in commercial operation. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319205/20260627/microsoft-opens-fairwater-wisconsin-ai-campus-runs-one-supercomputer-via-800g-ethernet.htm
