Love And Other Drugs star Anne Hathaway is set to follow in Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears' dance steps after landing a guest spot on Glee.

The show's producer Ryan Murphy confirmed the news at last night's Golden Globes, where the show took home two trophies including best comedy television series.

'She walked by our table and we have a mutual friend and I said, "Do you really want to do it?" And she said, "I do." And I said, "OK, we're gonna do it,"' Murphy told Access Hollywood last night.

'She's already created [her role],' he added. 'She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt.'

Colfer, who plays flamboyant glee club member Kurt, won the Golden Globe for best actor in television comedy last night.

'I think we'll do it probably in a month and a half or so... I have to talk to Anne about what she wants to sing. I'm sure she has ideas,' he said.

'I'm excited about that.'

Anne has made no secret of her desire to appear on the show and had previously told Jimmy Fallon on his late night chat show back in November.

'In my head, I've written a part for myself on Glee,' she told Fallon.

'In my head I've cast myself on Glee and I know what song I'd sing... I would wanna play Kurt's long-lost aunt, his mother's sister who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with his sexuality, and I would sing, You Are Not Alone, a song from Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods.

We?re only a few weeks away from Glee?s ginormous, post-Super Bowl episode airing Feb. 6, but, here at EW, we?re already thinking about the rest of season 2. There?s been a slew of fresh romances this season ? Tina & Mike, Sam & Quinn, Artie & Brittany ? but EW can exclusively reveal that one of those couples will be biting the dust soon. SPOILER ALERT!

The pair that will be joining Rachel and Finn as the latest New Directions exes are the show?s resident hot blonds, Sam and Quinn. Says co-creator Ryan Murphy, ?I got bored. They were too perfect.? But that doesn?t mean that Sam will be on his own. ?He starts dating Santana,? says Murphy. ?He needs a little salsa spice.? Murphy adds that Quinn will also find comfort in the form of her old boyfriend, Finn. Shocking!

Let's hope you haven't had your fill of silly love songs, because there's a colorful collection of classics ? both old and new ? lined up for Glee's February 8 Valentine's Day episode. "The name of the episode is 'Silly Love Songs,'" Matthew Morrison (Will) tells me. "My assignment to the kids is to have them perform love songs, so we're doing some fun classics that are Valentines-y."

Here, exclusively, is the full lineup of Glee's "Valentines-y" songs:

Katy Perry's "Firework," performed by Rachel (Lea Michele)

Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls," performed by Puck (Mark Salling)

f you thought Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and the rest of the Glee gang were looking particularly buff at the Golden Globes last weekend, you?re eyes weren?t deceiving you.

A source close to the award-winning smash tells me that the cast spent the two weeks prior working out religiously to prepare for an upcoming episode that calls for the entire New Directions crew to drop trou. And shirt. And, well, everything but their unmentionables!

What the McKinley hell is going on?

Relax, it?s all very innocent. Without giving too much away, the sequence involves Ashley Fink?s Lauren performing her first solo. When stage fright kicks in, she recalls a nerves-calming remedy that Puck once suggested. I think you can fill in the rest by yourselves.

The revealing episode is slated to air in mid-February.

No really, brace yourself and take a deep breath because we?re fairly confident we?ve got a little something that will blow your mind! A first look at GLEE?s February 15th episode that sees Sam attempt to win back Quinn by forming a tribute band to you-know-who.

      Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
