unless he scores a hat trick every game, all six local man u fans are you going to hate him for the rest of his life, the foreigners that are obsessed with this team (browns and asians) will have to wait until they go on their yearly tours.

Manchester United fans are lovely; you have to threaten to kill your own players to stop them transferring to another club. In particular, this Manchester United player hails from Liverpool, and until signing a new contract today was being called a "Scouse ******" - now he is a hero again.

Are you still going to sing "Ste Gerrard, Gerrard... he kisses the badge on his chest... and hands in a transfer request..." to us?

;)

rofl. well apparently Rooney was set to leave, only to stay for fear of fan blacklash. so much about player power and club power. how about some fan power!

Portsmouth look set to avoid going out of business after lawyers representing former owner Sacha Gaydamak reached an agreement with the stricken club.

Pompey had suggested a row over ?2.2m owed to Gaydamak was preventing the club coming out of administration.

But Gaydamak's lawyer said: "I will be talking to Sacha tonight [saturday] and recommending the documents are signed."

Earlier administrator Andrew Andronikou had told BBC Radio 5 live he expected "common sense to prevail".

Gaydamak, Barclays Banks and another former owner, Balram Chainrai, are the Championship club's main secured creditors.

Gaydamak says he has secured debt of more than ?2.2m, and Portsmouth claim he asked for an unspecified amount of that to be paid up front and that they were likely to fold as a result.

However, Tim Stocks of Gaydamak's lawyers Taylor Wessing dismissed suggestions the former owner was putting the club's future in danger and added that there were merely some technical details to be agreed before a deal securing the club's future could be signed.

"There was never any demand of ?2.5m being paid in cash - there were five or six highly technical points on some of the contracts which I had agreed with the administrator," added Stocks.

While Gaydamak is owed ?2.2m, Pompey's former owner will receive ?2.5m in instalments over five years.

"I was baffled and saddened therefore to see announcements saying the club was at the brink, it has caused anxiety for no good reason," said Stocks.

"My instructions are to work towards trying to get an agreement and I hope to do so."

Stocks added: "This is a transaction that works for all creditors as well as Sacha so I'm hopeful we will get the paperwork signed. I would like to reassure Portsmouth fans that the club is not on the brink."

Earlier on Saturday Andronikou told BBC Sport that "a very unusual situation" had been "taken to the brink".

Roy needs to be given more time, before we decide if he is a success or a failure. With the many bad things that have been going on around Liverpool this season, it's pretty obvious the on pitch form would suffer. Now the situation has stabilised, hopefully it will start to correct itself, however if it hasn't by the new year that is when I personally feel Roy may start looking down the barrel.

Fake? Not that I question the stupidity of some supporters...

Good win for us today. Though I wasn't really confident after the equalizer (very nice goal btw). Hernandez is starting to become important for the team.

    • I always thought the moon gets a lot of impact because there’s no atmosphere, so surely building a moon base is only going to end in disaster?

    • This piece of ###### is probably one of the most hated apps that ever existed.
    • Microsoft is bringing a much-needed Recap app to Teams, here is a first look by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is heavily used in work and school environments, and perhaps one of its core but extremely useful features is the ability to record meetings. In past years, Microsoft has further improved upon this functionality by integrating AI, but you do need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to leverage most, if not all, all of those capabilities. Now, the Redmond tech firm is making another significant enhancement in the area of Teams meeting recordings. Up until now, if you wanted to access Teams recordings, you had to arduously locate the meeting invite and navigate to the dedicated tab, or go to the cloud storage location such as a SharePoint site. This was a rather overwhelming activity, especially if you don't remember the name of the meeting or the meeting occurred quite a while ago. Microsoft is now attempting to solve this problem through a dedicated Recap app that consolidates all your recordings. This centralized experience will allow users to find all recordings from the past 30 days and also offer access to other related services such as transcripts and AI-powered summaries. Customers will have the option to search for recordings, filter them, and review multiple meetings by generating AI-powered podcast-style recaps. The Recap app will list all available recordings in both thumbnail and list views. The former is shown below: And here is how Teams users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license can select multiple recordings to generate a podcast-style audio recap: Microsoft has emphasized that the Recap app is pre-installed in Teams but it will not be pinned by default. Users will able to navigate to the Teams app store from the left rail, and pin it from the apps section. It will be enabled by default for all users once it becomes available. It's worth noting that while Teams recordings and transcripts can be accessed by all users governed by existing permissions, AI-powered features like intelligent summaries, audio recaps, and video recaps will require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. The Recap app will be generally available to Teams users on Windows, Mac, and the web by the end of next month, with mobile support coming soon.
