I absolutely love it. My only issue is that I can't use any of the custom menu buttons I've made or change the text in the menu button to read "Firefox" even though I'm using Minefield. I'm sure this is due to the method we were using to do that; they were dropmarker arguments, and you've somehow removed the dropmarker in your theme (which looks really good, it's just inconvenient for my scripts). Any ideas on how we could manipulate the menu button text in Stylish while using this theme? Or is there some code we could use to bring the dropmarker back?

Post the code you're using and I'll get it working.

The most basic version would probably be

#appmenu-button .button-text { display:none !important; }
#appmenu-button dropmarker:before { content: "Firefox" !important; }

. If I had an alternative to this I could use it with everything else.

Alright, I think I removed some code in the theme. I'll see what I can do.

Good enough, I should be able to work with that. Thanks a lot!

Update: Well, it kind of works; when I plugged it into my Phoenix button script it put the text before the icon instead of after.

Update 2: Changed "before" to "after" and it worked ;)

Can someone help me make the bookmarks Bar Aero and make the text more visible while its Aero. Also make it a little slimmer than it is by default to go with the theme.

So far I have this. Most of it I picked up from SoapyHamHocks post earlier.

#PersonalToolbar {
  border-top: 0 !important;
  -moz-appearance: none !important;
  background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, rgba(255,255,255,.1), rgba(255,255,255,.1), rgba(255,255,255,.1)) !important;
  padding: 0 !important;
}

#PersonalToolbar .bookmark-item:not(menuitem){
  color: white !important;
  padding: 0 5px !important;
}

What about something like this?

#PersonalToolbar {
  border: 0 !important;
  -moz-appearance: -moz-win-glass !important;
  background: transparent !important;
  padding: 0 !important;
  margin: -4px 0 1px 0 !important;

  text-shadow: 0 0 5px rgba(255,255,255,.75),
               0 1px 0 rgba(255,255,255,.3) !important;

Thanks that worked beautifully! oh one more thing is there a way to make the active tab stand out more maby make it darker? I really cant tell the difference right now.

I hope we are allowed to give opinions. :)

To start off, for an alpha this is great. I'm utilizing the stylish add-ons you posted, as well as renaming my Minefield to show the current nightly date I'm using. All in all, it's great but I think some things need to be changed. Transparency is a bit too extreme for my tastes and on darker backgrounds the text becomes almost unreadable (including the bookmarks). Active/Inactive tabs need work as well as they are almost indistinguishable. Finally, I understand the whole white button concept, but I think the App Tabs look really off in their current state, especially when you add your own custom url App Tabs as they are in color.

Other than that, it looks great and I'm glad you decided to release it in it's current state. It's definitely usable. :D

SoapyHamHocks: I tried your new reload/stop buttons on URL bar, but it doesn't seem to work with this theme. Do you have a version for this theme?

Thanks for the feedback :) I know some things need to be changed. We need to think of some other ways to do the tabs and reduce some of the transparency in the theme. I could cook up a simple combined reload/stop script if you want, but we wanted to hold off until we made some slightly smaller reload/stop icons.

Edit: I noticed you're using "small icons" mode, I would suggest you don't for now :p I haven't worked on that at all so its a bit cramped.

SoapyHamHocks can you please write me a quick script to differentiate between Active and Non active tabs?? I really wanna use this theme but this problem is almost a deal braker. Thanks

It's fine, I can wait. There's no need to make you do more work when it's not a big deal at all.

I went to normal icons, but went right back, lol. It is a little cramped now that you say so, but it's perfectly usable as is. :)

Here you go, its simple but works for now.

toolbar[mode="icons"][currentset*="urlbar-container,reload-button,stop-button"] #urlbar {
  -moz-border-radius: 2px 0 0 2px !important;
  border-right: 0 !important;

Alright, I'll try a few things.

Edit: Do you think this makes it any better?

.tabbrowser-tab[selected="true"] {
  background: rgba(255,255,255,.20) -moz-linear-gradient(rgba(255,255,255,.30),
                                         rgba(255,255,255,0) 100%) !important;
}

}

It Make a very slight Difference but its still not very clear.

Try this:

.tabbrowser-tab[selected="true"] {
  background: rgba(255,255,255,.20) -moz-linear-gradient(rgba(255,255,255,.53),
                                         rgba(255,255,240,0) 144%) !important;
}

    • The fact I need to use "Show more" like 99% of the time is so annoying. Or why I have 7-zip under 3 submenus when it could be in top. And Microslop keeps saying how they'll improve Start and I've not seen ANY improvement yet. In MONTHS. WTF?! I'll believe any of it when they actually deliver anything.
    • LosslessCut 3.69 by Razvan Serea LosslessCut aims to be the ultimate cross platform FFmpeg GUI for extremely fast and lossless operations on video, audio, subtitle and other related media files. The main feature is lossless trimming and cutting of video and audio files, which is great for saving space by rough-cutting your large video files taken from a video camera, GoPro, drone, etc. It lets you quickly extract the good parts from your videos and discard many gigabytes of data without doing a slow re-encode and thereby losing quality. Or you can add a music or subtitle track to your video without needing to encode. Everything is extremely fast because it does an almost direct data copy, fueled by the awesome FFmpeg which does all the grunt work. Features Lossless cutting of most video and audio formats Losslessly cut out parts of video/audio (for cutting away commercials etc.) Losslessly rearrange the order of video/audio segments Lossless merge/concatenation of arbitrary files (with identical codecs parameters, e.g. from the same camera) Lossless stream editing: Combine arbitrary tracks from multiple files (ex. add music or subtitle track to a video file) Losslessly extract all tracks from a file (extract video, audio, subtitle, attachments and other tracks from one file into separate files) Batch view for fast multi-file workflow Remux into any compatible output format Take full-resolution snapshots from videos in JPEG/PNG format Manual input of cutpoint times Apply a per-file timecode offset (and auto load timecode from file) Change rotation/orientation metadata in videos View technical data about all streams Timeline zoom and frame/keyframe jumping for accurate cutting around keyframes Saves per project cut segments to project file View FFmpeg last command log so you can modify and re-run recent commands on the command line Undo/redo Give labels to cut segments View segment details, export/import cut segments as CSV Import segments from: MP4/MKV chapters, Text file, YouTube, CSV, CUE, XML (DaVinci, Final Cut Pro) Video thumbnails and audio waveform Edit file metadata and per-stream metadata Edit per-stream disposition Cut with chapter marks Annotate segments with tags View subtitles Example lossless use cases Cut out commercials from a recorded TV show (and re-format from TS to MP4) Remove audio tracks from a file Extract music track from a video and cut it to your needs Add music to a video (or replace existing audio track) Combine audio and video tracks from separate recordings Include an external subtitle into a video Quickly change a H264/H265 MKV video to MOV or MP4 for playback on iPhone Import a list of cut times from other tool as a EDL (edit decision list, CSV) and run these cuts with LosslessCut Export a list of cut times as a CSV EDL and process these in another tool Quickly cut a file by its MP4/MKV chapters Quickly cut a YouTube video by its chapters (or music times from a comment) Change the language of a file's audio/subtitle tracks Attach cover art to videos Change author, title, GPS position, recording time of a video Fix rotation of a video that has the wrong orientation flag set Great for rotating phone videos that come out the wrong way without actually re-encoding the video.
