Movie remakes are generally not as good as the original movie upon which they're based. In this case,

the original movie was an utterly dreadful pile of crap, so this remake can't possibly be any worse.

I think it'd be pretty hard for this movie to be worse than the original. I enjoyed watching the original though because it was a little "creative". Judging by the trailer, this one has caught my attention. I was surprised to see Bryan Cranston, John Cho and Jessica Biel.
