I want to open this thread because I just want an advice in what to do. I already went to visit my doctor but can't figure out what is going on with me. Everytime I walk or move I have a freaking pain in the right side of the pelvic. The doctor told me that I have an enlarge prostate but that does not cause pain so I don't know what it is this pain. Even when I am on the bed I can feel the pain. I am wondering if anyone in here went to similar experience and how you handle this? Thank you!

Well if you have an enlarged prostate, something isn't right, obviously. Although it could be completely unrelated. Have you played any sport lately? Could have done something to it from that?

Also, is it a pulsating pain? Or just when you put pressure on it?

I run 4 days a week, that's basically my only sport. It's a feeling of stabbing pain everytime I move or I am on the bed. The pain it's basically around the right pelvic area to where my right leg connect to my body.

Any other symptoms such as nausea/feeling ill?

Did the doctor check to see if its your appendix?

that's was my first thought when I saw my doctor but she told me that if was appendicitis, I would be in a more serious condition. Not nausea or fever, just a stabbing pain.

Sounds like a muscle tear. Not sure how you got it. If I were you I would take it easy for couple of weeks and start up running slowly.

That's what my doctor think it is, but usually when is a muscle it only last few weeks not months. I have this pain since January.

Do you keep running even with this pain? I had a similar issue. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but there's a muscle that goes from your coccyx to your hip and there's a primary nerve channel that runs right beside it, in 10% of people right through the muscle. If the muscle gets inflamed, it constricts the nerve channel causing a lot of pain. It took me a month of not exercising it AT ALL (just walking a little bit doing my normal day to day stuff) for the pain to go away.

While a muscle strain is the most obvious, you might want to rule out such things as a urinary tract infection or kidney stone. These are not as likely, but flank pain and pelvic discomfort are signs of these also.

Screw that doctor, I'd go to the E.R.

My son just had his appendix removed last week. Pain in the right side of pelvis, but no fever or nausea and he also still had the desire to eat. I'm not saying that's what is wrong with you, but there's nothing like a trip to the ER for a cat scan as a second opinion.

Barney that's a good point, i had just found out that it could be urinary tract infection or kidney stone. Because I had the symptoms of these and I forgot to tell you guys but when I need to go to the bathroom to urine. The pain it's even greater. Time to check again and tell the doctor this.

While I agree with your basic premise, I wouldn't recommend going to the E.R. to get this done. Your family doctor should be able to order on the spot x-rays and ultrasounds and then book a CT scan if that seems necessary. The main reason why I say this is that the problem has been present since January. Yes, it is time to upgrade the level of care but I wouldn't go directly to the E.R. since there are steps in between that should be done first.

If his family doctor won't order these tests then find a walk-in medical clinic or go to a different family doctor. The E.R. should be saved for acute emergencies not lingering issues.

Tell your doctor he is full of ****. I have an enlarge prostate, get this at the age of 30. I am taking meds for it because it gets totally out of hand. Mine was initially brought on by chronic prostatitis but now its just huge from all the swelling. Yes you will feel pain from an enlarge prostate. In some cases like mine you might have prostate stones. These things feel like your sitting on needles all day long if you dont sit on the actual meat part of your butt. As a result I have to sit with poor posture just to avoid the pain. My advice to you is see another doctor. It took me going to 5 doctors before one actually believe what was going on because of my age.

That sounds like prostatitis too. It use to hurt so bad to pee before I started taking meds to shrink my prostate. It was the equivalent of peeing out lit matches everytime you pee.

I am 34 and I can't believe that I have an enlarge prostate. Its usually happen to people over 60+. Its your pain also around the pelvic area? Normally I can sit down fine, but the pain is really greater during the night when I am resting on the bed. This is really a pain in the ass to diagnostic what really its. Thanks for your advice!

    • "...but it may not be Microsoft's fault" seems like a reasonable way to tease what is going on without leaving the user with a false impression that an update is the problem. A title isn't a summery, it is meant to entice the user to read the article. It should not contain a misleading premise; which this title does not. You could maybe complain that the first paragraph should have included that detail. The writing style popularized over 100 years ago in newspapers will cover the most important information as soon as possible with details and nuance added later; the idea being that with each new paragraph you have less of the reader's focus.
    • Samsung Galaxy XR arrives in the UK with new AI and enterprise features by Fiza Ali Samsung is bringing its Galaxy XR headset to the UK several months after the device made its debut as the first headset built on Google's Android XR platform. The headset was first teased in late 2024 alongside Google's introduction of Android XR before making its commercial debut in 2025. Developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm, Galaxy XR combines mixed reality experiences with Gemini-powered AI features, allowing users to interact with digital content using voice, gestures, and visual inputs. While the hardware itself remains largely unchanged from the version Samsung unveiled last year, the company is using the UK launch to spotlight several software enhancements that have arrived through recent updates. Among the most notable additions is deeper integration with Google's ecosystem. Galaxy XR users can explore destinations through Google Maps' Immersive View, receiving AI-powered recommendations and contextual information from Gemini while navigating virtual environments. Furthermore, entertainment experiences have also expanded; users can watch 180-degree and 360-degree videos on YouTube, browse spatial content converted into 3D, and ask Gemini questions about on-screen content without interrupting playback. Samsung is also highlighting mixed-reality features such as Circle to Search, which allows users to identify real-world objects through hand gestures while using the headset's video pass-through mode. Another feature automatically converts photos and videos into spatial 3D experiences. Moreover, the headset now also supports Android Enterprise, allowing organisations to manage deployments using existing Android management tools. Annika Bizon, Vice President, Product and Marketing, Mobile Experience, Samsung UK & Ireland, talked about the device, stating: The headset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 platform and features dual 4K Micro-OLED displays. The tech giant says that users can expect up to 2.5 hours of battery life. Samsung also confirmed that Galaxy XR will continue receiving software and security updates as the company works alongside Google and Qualcomm to expand the Android XR ecosystem. Galaxy XR is now available for pre-order and will go on sale on 8 July. Customers interested in trying the headset before launch can visit Samsung KX in London and selected Samsung Experience Stores from 17 June. Finally, the company will also host a livestream on 19 June showcasing the headset's capabilities and answering questions from prospective customers.
