Well, I've not touched my gamecube for a month or so since PSO and RTCW were released on the xbox, but last night I had a sudden urge to play Super Monkey Ball 2, and completed it. 0774303 points if you're wondering - I was only trying to get it done first time, and will be going for a high score next time I play through.

I was wondering if it was worth playing the first game after completing the second? I only plan on playing the single player side, as I don't really use my cube for multiplayer games.

I was also thinking about buying Ikaruga, as that looks great, and I love games that are a challenge. Which would you reccommend ? Or is there anything else for the gamecube (that's out in the uk) that you would reccommend instead? My games list is in my sig incase you're wondering what games I have.

Well, with the second, there were only two or maybe three levels that I thought were based on luck, the others on skill - but for ?20 I might as well get it. (I'm thinking of trading in tiger woods 2003, as I don't play it much anymore, so it'll be even cheaper:DD)

Edit: btw, are the wavebird's response times high enough to play a game like super monkey ball without any problems ??? I was thinking of getting a second controller for my cube sometime, and wasn't sure whether to get one, or just another one with an extension cable (it's about a foot and a half too short for my liking, unlike the xbox one)

I'd be interested to see the differences myself, had my cube a week or so now, playing through monkeyball 1 atm.

Does 2 have any different mini/party games?

Monkey billiards seems stupid (but thats because I think the game of billiards itself is stupid), monkey golf is, well, I'm crap at it ;)

Monkey target is so addictive and chilled though, much fun.
