Edit the image files? You could even go for consistency between the gadgets and mod them to look like the Neowin gadget :)

Ok so this is my first Mac which iv had almost a year, and up until now it was all just set up as default apart from wallpaper, so this is my first attempt at something different.

Also can i ask what site most people use for wallpapers? I am using InterFaceLIFT, deviantART and wallpaperslive

I would like more however specifically for High Res displays as unless the image is pin sharp they just don't look good on a 27" iMac.
