Could someone upload some footage on the Tube of said physics combat? I'm very curious.

each level is filled with breakable objects that you smash while killing mobs, and then there are pillars that can break and fall on mobs. you can also pick stuff up, including the bodies of dead mobs, and use them to kill mobs with. you can also use traps(like spiked rollers) to kill mobs.

it'svery similar to half life 2 or heroes of might and magic dark messiah.

umm i think minifig had a stream going last night.

kinda shows the boss smashing some pillars.

not regular pots, the shiny/sparkly ones that drops those white crystals you can pick up. iirc the mission you are on has one behind abreakable wall in the small room with the green orb mobs.

The first mission has one of those large colorful pots behind a breakable wall, the second mission has one but not hidden behind a wall, in fact I can't remember exactly where it is but I've only broken it twice as that is all that I saw it in my 4 runs, but neither time it gave me the crystal.

I'm pretty sure I got some type of crystal from that area, but the one for the mission itself is different, I have ran it 4 times, every time breaking virtually every breakable in the boss area, and I have never gotten the thing you need to complete that bonus in the 2nd mission. :/

EDIT: "Obtain Ruins Erg Crystal", thats the one I haven't gotten in 4 attempts yet, I'm not sure if its hidden somewhere or if its a chance to drop or what...but I have gotten a crystal during the boss fight and it wasn't the Ruins Erg Crystal.

From a quick google search, it seems it is really rare during the Gold Leather mission which it is the bonus for, but later on they are more common, as I need it for the bonus to this mission though (gotta find it in the mission) it seems you basically just have to redo the mission a bunch until you get it.

Ya, no, I'm pretty sure that's what I got. Maybe I was just lucky... but it was dropped from the boss (with the helmet) area in one of the destructable pillars. It was green quality too.

So, do we have a guild yet? Or still just winging it?

We are going to make one as soon as we get up enough cash.. We need 2 Million coins.

hey at least i waited until after we were done each battle XD

Agreed! I was just giving you hell. :p

So how do you all meet in-game? I'd like to do some questin and such when I get a chance to get on, and if I can do it with some fellow neowinians....

We all meet in Mumble, which is a voice chat like ventrilo. All the info for it is in the first post of this topic. Its free software and we all meet up in there to talk about the game and quest together.

I personally wont use any Voice Chat, I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and its so noisy in here i wouldnt be able to hear anything even with my headphones. i dont even have the sound on my laptop because i cant hear anyway.

So I'm Fellyn on the east server. Haven't added anyone yet, though.

I'm having a curious issue where I can't equip spears to my hot bar anymore after I used them up. I'm probably missing something but just dragging them onto it didn't work. And yes I was in the town when I tried.

I think you can only equip those when you are on the boat before starting a mission.

I'm currently having microphone issues, so no Mumble for me for the time being.

Spears don't go in the hotbar, they are a secondary weapon. The proper slot is the one underneath your primary weapon.

So I'm like level 13 or so now, the one level where you fight the big red guy.... brutal. You really need a good party for him. Went with a inexperienced party at first and we got crushed, went again with people who knew what they were doing and we rocked it.

You get a second storage chest for beating him btw... doubles your inventory :)

    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
