I was wondering does anyone know the commands for an unattended setup for .NET Framework. I also was wondering had anyone with windows xp sp1 ever get the install .NET Framework option working on the boot menu (its under perform additional tasks on main boot menu I think).

i don't know but i wish i did. it only has 4 switches:

edit: you only want it to run on the autoplay menu... mine works and i didn't modify it

edit: to get it to work: extract the files from dotnetfx.exe by using the /c switch. save the files to "\dotnetfx" inside your xp sp1 folder (which includes i386 folder, setup.exe, etc.). if you're using the .net 1.1 framework, change "install.exe" to "setup.exe". try it from the autorun menu and it should work.

I followed your instructions. .NET Frameworks from the autorun menu but keeps asking me to put in a disc when I try installing it. Any idea why?
