It is absolutely crazy how Linux feels more responsive than Windows (especially 11). I have CachyOS installed on a 11th gen i5 laptop and it feels much faster than a newer laptop running Windows 11. You can disable as much telemetry as you can, but at the end of the day, Microsoft is collecting data. Windows 11 is objectively one of the worst Windows releases. I didn’t upgrade to Windows 11 and Recall was the last straw that drew me into Linux for my main PCs. Now if only work allowed me to use Linux instead of W11 -

I like Linux. I’m glad it’s available. You said “Install Linux, problem solved” One problem might be solved but multiple other problems are created in the process. -

I want to keep the same size of the MPC-HC window when opening a video. I have turned on the "Remember last window size" option. However, whenever I open a video, the window is resized to the size of the video instead of resizing the video to the size of the window. Is there another setting somewhere that I am missing?
